Size Of Fetus With Regards To Vitamins

I went to the doctor a day or two ago and paid for a fetal scan privately as the NHS does not preform a scan before 16 weeks. My baby is crown-rump length is 1.8mm whereas at this stage it should be 2.5mm. Is this due to not getting in enough vitamins or is it due to not eating right all together. I am worried as i would like to have a healthy baby (as i am sure everyone else does want the same).

if the doctor didn't say anything about it then i don't think you need to worry. Everybody grows at a different pace. So just keep taking your normal 1 prenatal vitamin a day and get a healthy diet going that is well balanced in fruits/veggies/ red meat /carbs and healty fats.

You may not be as far along as you think, that length sounds about the 8.5-9 week length, my Dr said to me today that you can ovulate as much as 7days earlier or later than the 2 week point that is suggested. I would'nt stress at all especially if they saw the heatbeat. Best of luck with your preg!
