Stiffening Of Stomach Muscles Pls Respond

Hi Guys:I am in almost my 7th week of pregnancy now.Suddenly yesterday night I noticed a change in my stomach it felt like stiff/slightly hardened .I am suffering from constipation for past couple of days and do you think that is the reason or is it normal coz I am pregnant I am experiencing this and my body is going through some changes?.Does anybody know?Pls respond .Thanks

Those are Braxton Hicks contractions. Completely normal, think of them as "practice contractions" if they start to become painful, or you get more than 4 in 1 hour, call your Dr.
