Supplements

I have panic disorder and I opted out of going on perscription medication for it. I do, however, take supplements that have prevented the daily attacks that normally get. My husband and I are trying to conceive. My Dr. doesnt agree with taking anything other than pre-natal vitamins so she had no opinion on the other supplements that I take. I wanted to get some advice if anyone can help. In addition to an over the counter Pre-Natal Vitamin: B-50 (B Vitamin Complex) has 50mg of all B Vitamins and 400 mcg of Folic (1/day) Selenium – 200mcg (1/day) Super Omega-3 Softgels -300mg EPA, 200mg DHA, 1,000mg Fish Oil (2/day) GABA (Amino acid) 750mg – it is a neurotransmitter and it is known to increase HGH levels (1/day) Can any of this be dangerous to a developing baby?

mnap97, I'm glad you are off to a great start with your supplements. You may have already delivered but in case you haven't, I found some great organic supplement information and posted it to my blog at gogreenhealth d.o.t. blogspot d.o.t. commercial(com) for more helpful prenatal vitamin information. I also have collected information from nutrition specialists here as well. And as an extra bonus, if you are a Go Green! person, then you will love what we have to offer. All moms, please take a couple of minutes and read up on the most up-to-date information science has given us to create healthy babies. Your babies deserve it! Also, great move on not going on prescription drugs during this time. Your baby will thank you!
