I know soft and semi soft cheese are things to avoid due to the bacteria, but does that make a difference if the cheese is in something baked or cooked?

Heat often kills harmful bacteria.

If cheese is baked into a dish, I don't see the harm in eating it. I wouldn't eat any hard or soft cheeses from overseas. They say not to eat Blue cheese, brie or goat. I love cheese and still eat blue cheese, only in pre-bottled salad dressing. I don't use chunks of blue cheese.

I can't get a "final answer" on whether name-brand blue cheese salad dressing is safe to eat. Thanks.
