can i still do squats and lunges with like 5-8pd. dumbells in the first few months of preg? i have heard that the moving your body up and down can be harmful?

i'm not an expert at all... but i know some say exercizes that 'bounce' the body or that have sudden/jolted movements should be tapered down. So do them more slowly, gently or just less than often. But excersize is always good, unless you doctor adivse otherwise like mine did. In that case, start taking easy walks or swims instead.
