For the past 4 days I've had a sharp pain in lower left stomach. It feels like my ovary. Actually it feels like bad ovulation pains. I'm so scared something is wrong. I called my MD today and he's in the OR and has to call me back. I had an early ultrasound yesterday. When I lay down, the pain seems to go away. It's the wrost when I sit in a chair. Anyone else have this, is this normal? Should I go to the ER?????

You may want to. This could be ectopic, could be ovarian torsion or cyst, even round ligament painl altho a tad early. Did your US indicate an intrauterine PG? I would say that if you feel pain in your shoulder (often a result of bleeding into your abdominal cavity) you should be seen immediately. A ruptured ectopic is cause for alarm. Good luck.

What did your ultrasound results indicate? I had a similar situation at the same time, and it caused spotting. Turns out that it was an ovarian cyst which has since dissolved combined with implantation pains but they immediately did a v____al ultrasound to rule out ectopic pregnancy or other problems. It could also be a fibroid.

I was going through my old posts, this pregnancy ended in miscarriage. The pain, I don't think, had anything to do with it. I had a blighted ovum at 10 weeks. I recently just had another miscarrage at 5 weeks too.

Sorry to hear that. Do you know the reason of your m/c? I read that if you m/c more than once, you should have some geneting testing done. But I might be wrong. I used to have ovary pains too, but not so bad as you I guess. I am going to see the doc in 2 weeks, so I see if everything is ok. I didn;t have pain for few days. Good luck
