I had the normal early pregnancy br___t tenderness like I would normally have before my period. That went away after about 8-10 weeks, now at 20 weeks every few days I feel like a hot jabbing pain in both of my nipples, it almost is unbearable. I have had to change shirts just so I can't feel it(eventhough it's still there). Has anyone else experienced this? It's not all the time, and it lasts for at most a 1/2 an hour, but for that time it drives me insane.

I had that too! I asked my dr if my nipples were supposed to feel like they were going to explode or not. Thats how I discribed it...At time I couldn't let ANYTHING touch them and that has finally gone away. Dr didn't say there was anything I could do about it but he did rea__sure me that he's never heard of a women's nipples exploding...so that was good news :)

Mine have felt like they're on fire. I have actually put ice on then in a freanzy one morning because I just couldn't deal. I notice especially if I'm wearing a tank top w/ one of those built in bras, it's like my nipples can't breathe or something, it's the only real discomfort I've had to deal with so I guess I can't complain too much. Nice to know someone has had the same experience, eventhough it toally sucks, misery loves company. :)

That has been going on with me. It will only happen every now and then though, but it's like a stabbing pain. I was scared and thought something was wrong.

Hi, I am 13 wks and I get these sharp shooting pains in my bbs too, also my nipples get really really sore if they get too cold - it is unbearable but doesn`t last for long each time. GOOD LUCK

Its almost like someone is rubbing your nipples with sand paper? I remember that and am not looking forward to it again! I found that if i wore more than one or two bras(which I need anyway) it helped. That way they didn't have a chance to move!

Yeah, it is a stabbing pain, like red hot pokers. I kinda feel like it's burning from the inside out. I just am happy it doesn't last long, if it did it would drive me to permanent insanity, lol, not just temporary insanity.
