I have found out that I am 5weeks pregnant. I have had a scan and they have confirmed that I do not have an eptopic pregnancy, however, I am still having pains in my abdomen. They are really bad, just strange. Is this normal?

They are not strange. Your body is adjusting to pregnancy. This is my very first pregnancy, I'm 33 weeks pregnant...trust me your going to feel pains in your abdomen through out your whole pregnancy! When I was in my first trimester like you I experienced the same thing, your body is adjusting to the baby inside you. I would read books more on it. Your body does ALOT of stretching, and lots of it is in the abdomen area, your body is preparing you for the baby and the BIG DAY!

I just found out I am 5 weeks pregnant and this is my second child. I started cramping about 5 days ago real bad like I was going to start. But all the test have come back normal and the Doctor says everything is fine unless I was bleeding heavy there was nothing to worry about with the cramping. I was scared at first but I am glad to see some cramping is normal. Good Luck!!
