I am 14 weeks pregnant and suffering from severe cramping in the low pelvic/bladder area. My dr. conducted a urine test today and it came back negative. The cramping is so bad it's referring up towards my belly button. I am confused becuase I have had several bladder/kidney infections in the past (never while pregnant...this is my first pregnancy) and I know the symptoms but my doctor insists it's just "cramping that some pregnant women get". Is it possible that the uterus stretching could cause this much pain? It's just so much more severe than what I would imagine a growing pain to be. Has anybody suffered from this? If so...when did it start to subside?

Being pregnant is not comfortable. You think it's bad now? Wait until you give birth,

I'm 11 wks and during my 10th wk I was having similiar pains. I called my doctor and he asked me if I was doing things I don't normally do. Which I was, I was up and down a lot, on my feet more than I normally was and was overly tired. He said it was most likely due to that and also it was due to my body shifting around making room for the baby. This past week I'm back to my normal routine and have not had any pains. Have you been doing anything different than your normal routine?

I am 13 weeks pregnant and am experiencing very similar pain in lower abdomen - last week it was on right side and this week it seems to be on the left side. My doc said it was stretching ang growing pain but it is very scary and uncomfortable. Are you experiencing burning when you urinate? My doc has said this is a major sign of bladder infection.
