I was walking to my desk this morning when all of the sudden my downstairs went numb. Kind of the same feeling when your legs fall asleep. Anyone else experience this and what causes it?

A lady I work with said it could be the baby sitting on a nerve. It really freaked me out. I thought he was going to come out.
