Ever since my wife got pregnant she has been farting without control. Is this normal? Did it happen to you?

Well I am glad to know its not just me. In fact I just asked my husband this morning if he was getting tired of the farts & belches!!! I am 8 weeks pregnant and it seems I have more gas than the gas station. If only we could use it in the car!!! I feel bloated all the time. Sometimes I am bloated for hours and so uneasy but as soon as I have some ginger tea or Ginger beer the explosion of wind starts. I dont know if it works for your wife but when I am having nausea as soon as I start pa__sing the wind I feel so much better.
