I think that I may suffer from Hyperemesis Gravidarum... How do I get my doctor to check for that?

talk to him, ask him to test you.

For me, the doctor checked my weight - was losing like 1.5 - 2lbs a day, she checked ketones in my urine etc. Check out www.hyperemesis.org - this website runs through how to identify you have hyperemesis, treatments etc.

msmommie, from your comment on one of the other threads, it sounds like you have hyperemesis. Please talk to your dr. soon - call them up, tell them you have been vomiting often. (For me, I or rather my husband called the dr's office and told them I couldnt keep fluids or food down, hadnt urinated in sometime and can we be seen soon - they saw me within two hours and sent me to the hospital for iv, zofran etc).
