If your morning sickness is making it impossible for you to keep anything down, to the point where you're losing weight, you need to call your doctor about it. There are prescription anti-nausea meds they can give you if it gets bad enough. I had mild morning sickness, and I ate ginger candies to help with it.

Two things I want to note: 1) if you are suffering from bad morning sickness ask your doctor to prescribe you vitamin b4 pills (maybe, its b2.. cant really remember now) They helped me a lot in the first couple months. Also, before getting out of bed... slowly rise to a sitting position and munch a few saltine crackers. This helps soothe the stomach as morning sickness is a lot like motion sickness. Any quick movements popping out of bed on an empty stomach could cause a lot of your misery. 2) The pain you are describing... is it in your upper abdomen? I have been getting pains in my right upper abdomen that I described to the dr as a VERY BAD burning sensation. She told me its very likely its my gall bladder (as pregnant woman are prone to gall bladder attacks) and ordered a ultrasound to check. I haven't received my results yet to know for sure, but the pain you are having is definitely something to talk to your dr about. Also, if he/she tells you it could be heartburn, but tums are not helping, don't be afraid to tell them that you don't believe that's the problem. Good Luck and ps.. you'll get through the morning sickness, just pray that you don't have it the whole pregnancy as those few unlucky women that do.
