Lower Back Swelling Normal Anyone

This is my first pregnancy, and I'm still working out the 'kinks' as it's still pretty early (10 1/2 weeks)...I've been experiencing some back pain in the small of my back at my waist, near the base of my spine. It's become swollen, and the swelling is visible as well as uncomfortable. Did anyone else expereince this?? I don't want to pester my doc if this is common! Thanks to all!
