PAIN In Lower Left Side

Hi! I am 15 weeks and 5 days. The other day I was getting out of my car and I bent forward to get up and I had a sharp pain in my lower left side. After that my lower left side hurt to the point it was hard to walk, but I amnot been bleeding. I laid down and took a nap and when I got up it seemed to not hurt as much. However, the more I was up it began to hurt more. I went to bed that night and had to sleep on my right side. It was still sore the next day, so I called my doctor and they said it sounded like I strained or pulled a ligament. It is still a little sore whenever I get up from a seated position. Has anyone ever experienced this and if so, was everything okay with the baby?

I forgot to mention that I was told around 7 weeks that I had 2 cysts on my left ovary. So, this may have something to do with the pain, but I don't know.

I had (and still have) round ligament pain...kind of ran along the area where your bikini line would be...on left side...some have it on right or both sides...just body stretching as uterus expands.

I am 35 wks this weekend and started experiencing this again recently....kind of faded away for a while...but guess the real baby weight gain is ON!

Sounds like round ligament pain to me. I had a few when I was around that point (I'm 26wks now). They happen most often when you get up from a sitting or lying position or turn over in bed. They don't hurt the baby at all!

sorry...forgot to add that during pregnancy it is quite easy to pull things because of the muscle "relaxing" hormone released. I pulled a muscle in my neck by putting on a jacket in early pregnancy...so that could also be a possibility
