Pelvic Pressure And Discomfort

Hi everyone - I'm just over 24 weeks and the past few days I have been feeling pressure in my lower pelvic region. It's fine when I sit or lay down but as soon as I start walking around I feel it again. I have a apt. tomorrow but I'm still worried sick. All the websites I go to say that it could be a sign of preterm labor. Any one with any insight would be greatly appreciated!

I am 22 weeks and I have felt that too, but it just turns out to be gas. Doctor said I was fine. My doctor gave me great advice...stop reading on the internet! I am sure you are fine. Best Wishes

hmmmmmmmmm......that is a little strange to feel that pressure at only 24 weeks...I am 40 weeks and 5 days pregnant and started feeling that pressure about 3 weeks ago, my doctor says the pressure and numbess down there is the baby pushing down (engaging) and getting ready for birth.....sorry, I dont have more encouraging feed back! I would talk to your doctor about it!

Pain in that region is nothing to freak out about. As my baby grows I get so much pain down there that it is hard for me to walk. This is baby number three for me. Could be round ligaments stretching, could be muscles. Could be anything...it doesn't have to mean something bad.

I have pain on the left side of the pelvic area and it's just separation and nothing to worry about. I've been seeing a chiropractor because of tailbone pain too, and it seems to help. For me it hurts when I walk or when I lift my left leg or try to put my pants on. Nothing too bad, just makes it difficult to do things.
