I'm 6 months prego now and let me tell you, once the nausea goes away you will feel so much better. Now everyone is different but I had morning sickness, well all day sickness for the first 4 months. The only thing that seemed to kinda help was the baked potatoes from wendy's and coke. I went to the doctors to see what helped. The doc said she didn't care if I ate anything, just as long as it stayed down. She said just snack instead of eating meals. Like have one cracker, 30 mins later, have a grape, 30 minutes later some applesauce. Anything really to keep something down.

nino3, I am now 30 weeks and still have 3-4 days a week where I am vomiting. It has gotten much better though, compared to the 6-8 x per day before. This is what I found: cheerios, candied ginger really settled my stomach, although it was an acquired tasted, coke or pepsi and frosted honey buns, the kind with 1/2" thick frosting and 80 grams of carbs! Oh, and chicken nuggets. That was the only meat I could tolerate for 5 months. You can try ginger hard candies too, they are called GinGins, and you can get them at most health food stores, I found them at a World Market if you have those near you. Oh, also, drink your fluides after your meal, and not during. It seems like it overtaxes your tummy to try to deal with food and liquids, and with the hunger, the more solid you can get in there, the better. I was on 4 different meds, finally Reglan worked for me. I only took it when I knew I had to go somewhere, I'd tough it out at home. Good luck to you, I hope you feel better soon!

With my first pregnancy I took ginger capsules. My father-in-law found them at a drug store. I couldnt stand the taste of ginger ale so I just swallowed two pills a day and they really worked.

This is number 6 for me. And yes nausea was prominate in all of them even now. Food Food Food. If I were you I wouldn't take any pills. Be strong, there is light at the end. Eat often, very often. Our bodies tell us not to eat when we feel sick to our stomach. But we need to eat when we feel like that. It seems cereal works well with me. Sometimes after I eat that I have to eat something more until my stomach calms down, then I am good. This is all day though. Find what fills your stomach up, maybe oatmeal, french fries whatever sounds good to you, eat it. I'm not a huge person, but I sure pack it in when I'm pregnant and I only gain about 35 to 40 pounds. I start out at 5'1 and 108lbs. So I am small, so your body is just telling you it needs more. Also you are actually making a placenta right now. So your body needs all the energy it can get. Hope this helps.
