Hi. I'm 15 weeks and for the past 6 weeks or so I have had a shooting pain on the right side of my lower abdomen. It usually happens when I am sitting still and is accompanied by general aches. Is this a characteristic of round ligament pains?

I've been getting pains too. It started on my lower left side, now it's kinda across my belly. Doesn't last too long, but very uncomfortable. I'd also like to know what they could possibly be.

Yes, it's the ligaments. I'm 27 wks and went to the hospital the other night because I couldn't take it anymore and it was unlike anything I've felt in this or my 1st pregnancy. It IS a pain, but nothing to worry about
