I am 26 weeks pregnant and went to the restroom last night and realized I had brown spotting on my underwear and on the toilet paper. I haven't had any contractions and feel pretty normal, but my baby isn't moving as much as I would like him too. (And of course as I speak about him he starts to move). I know I'm probably just freaking out, but I'm nervouse as to why I'd be spotting. It's not red or pink, just that brown color you get before you would normally get your period. Please help me have a peace of mind. I'm stressing and I know it's probably not a good thing!

Hi Skippy711. Did you recently go to the dr for any type of internal exam for any reason? That could cause you to spot that way. If not, you could possibly have a yeast infection, which can cause more of a colored discharge. I am 37 weeks pregnant and I have Gestational diabetes...so I have been treated for yeast infections 3 times so far. Not to get too personal, but if you had any kind of intercourse that could be a cause too. Good luck and Im sure you are fine :)
