well ladies, stripping the membranes WORKED FOR ME!!! the contractions i was having the other night kept getting worse so we went to the hospital and i had him within 10 minutes of being there!!!! i am posting the whole CRAZY birth story in the third tri. and labor forum. i just wanted to share with you really quick that i did end up having him that night. i hope you have yours soon!! i feel SO much better not being pregnant. i actually feel really really good. ill post the birth story soon! i gotta get settled right now. talk to you soon!

hello ladies, i hope some of you have been relieved of your misery by now. its been a while since anyone has posted. i figured i would update you all since my last doc apt. i dont know about you but it seems like every time i come out of my doc's office i am dissapointed or irritated by something they have done, or havent done for that matter. i trust my doctors knowledge and ability to deliver my baby but she really just isnt a likeable person outside of being a doctor. shes not very sociable and is just kinda strange. anyway, i go in and she starts asking me all these questions about the pelvic thing and acts like its brand new and starts diagnosing me all over again. when i had my ultrasound done they changed my due date and moved it up a week but apparently in their charts i am still on the origional due date because they were calling me 32 weeks when according to the 'corrected' due date i am 33... its all minor stuff but to me its important. i want to feel like they are actually paying attention to me i suppose. oh well. i really think this baby is going to come in october though jsut because of my son being so early and how im feeling now. ive been running around the house cleaning fingerpritns off the walls! wipnig dust of windowsills oh and they other day i cleaned out my dying plants in the kitchen window and that led to me deep cleaning the entire kitchen. i better have this baby soon because i dont have enough energy to be running around for the next 6-7 weeks like that lol.

spunky- I admire your energy! That totally sounds like nesting. I remember with my first I would spill a little bit in the fridge and instead of just wiping it I would do a full-out deep clean, with reorganizing---putting the condiments in alphabetical order kind of thing. It was impressive!! I'm sorry to hear your doctor isn't paying enough attention. It's infuriating. You'd think they'd read the charts before they come into the room--just remind themselves what they've already chatted to you about! I had some problems with my doc too--I actually filed a formal complaint against her! So now I got an emergency doc appointment at 12 because I haven't been provided adequate health care--especially not in the last month, which is dangerous concidering my GD and now being overdue. It sounds like I'm getting booked into the hospital tonight! Anyways!!
