I am 17 weeks pregnant.I was diagonised with bacterial infection and i have started taking antibiotics.Can anyone share if infection will lead to miscarriage or birth defects.I just feel terribly upset since my last pregnancy ended in miscarriage.

Infections are very normal for pregnant women. I wouldn't worry at all. I have had 2 bacterial infections and I am 31wks along. The doc says everything is going great too!

i had the exact same problem...i had like 2 bacterial infections and the doctor treated it and the baby is just fine...
