I always get my blood pressure checked and I am always perfect or Great. I am now seeing the dr. every week. I am 37 wks almost 38. My ankles are so swollen even when I have been sleeping all night and wake up in the morning. Throughout the day it gets so bad that my ankles are flapped over the top of my shoe and I can feel it jiggle as I walk. My hands/fingers are so swollen that they tingle and are tight to make a fist. The dr. tells me to drink a lot of water. I do. I am now counting how much water I drink. Yesterday I drank a gallon and a half. Today I have been up 2 1/2 hours and have drank 3 16oz glasses so far. How much is enough and how can I get comfortable? anyone else have this?

OH and I don't have a high salt diet, no sodas etc. I actually haven't been eating too much. Probably because of the water filling me up.

HI I know how you feel. I have two major problems.. Heartburn and swelling.. My fngers, toes, feel, hand, and ankles are swollen all the time. And it seems to get even worse at night time. My joints ache all the time and it hurts to make a fist now. My blood pressure is still really really low. ( I have low blood pressure naturally ). I drink loads and loads of water to but nothing is making a diffrence at all what so ever. I cant even get my feet in my shoes any more. I cant answer your questions but I want you to know you are not alone in this. Even if I am in England.

Thank You Rougeandkanks! I didn't think anyone was ever gonna reply! Like you said, we are not alone... You sound just like me!

Don't feel alone. I've had carpal tunnel syndrome for about 2 mos now. The swelling and stiffness in my right hand is almost constant. I can barely brush my hair, wash dishes, or much else requiring fine motor coordination of the right hand. Most of the time i cannot make a fist without horrible pain. I'm reduced to wearing a wrist brace most of the time...which still doesn't take the pain away. This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi stacyn, I have the same problem with my feet and ankles. I am 31 weeks and wake up swollen, prop up my feet and they still are swollen. My shoes are also tight. My dr. says just stay off of my feet; they still seem huge... My blood pressure is also good; 103 over 63. If you find some relief please let me know...hopefully someone will reply with some good info. we can both use. Atleast you know you only have a few weeks left. Best wishes.
