I am 7 weeks pregnant with my second child. I am so worried because lately I have been having shooting pain right where my right ovary is. I have a history of ovarian cysts and this is the same kind of pain. I know that it might be another cyst, because pregnancy hormones can make them larger, but I am also terrified that it is an ectopic pregnancy. I am so worried for my baby and for my fertility and life if something goes wrong. Today the pain is quite bad. Please, does anyone have experience with this kind of pain?

I would see your OB/GYN for an ultrasound. This will clear up the fears of and ectopic pregnancy. It could be a cyst. In which case you doc should know about its presence so it can be monitored. I was experiencing a similar pain this weekend and it turned out to be that my kidney was swollen, now that I know it can be treated...but the peace of mind that came from seeing my baby move around on the ultrasound was the best part.
