Hey I was just wondering if anyone has had bad pelvic pain. I have been having this horrible pain down in that area and my inner thighs. I am 30 weeks. I can also feel the baby way down in that area. Has anyone had this and know what it could be? Is it just my ligaments stretching?

I have a friend who is 30 weeks and has the same pain. Her doctor told her that it is just her pelvic bone spreading. In her case they are doing so unevenly right now so the pain is a little worse than usual.

Okay, at least I am not the only one. It is definitely very painful!!

im 39 weeks and for about 5 weeks ive had really really bad pelvic pain. Its really hard for me to get up and move around, or lift my legs. I have to have help putting my clothes on. My dr. told me it was normal...i still think its not...i dont know how people function with this pain!

I totally know what you mean. It hurts me the most when I try to roll over in bed or get up. I hate it!!

I feel your pain. I am at 32 weeks and I can barely lift my legs without feeling like I fell on a bicycle bar. The doctor told me it was normal and to expect it to get worse before the end. just one of the perks to having a baby.

Hi Christina. I was looking on the forum for a question/answers like these. I am 19 weeks and have been having groin pain. It really hurts when I roll over in bed and get out of the car. I have been told too that it's the pelvic bone making way for baby and it's happening unevenly. It's a pain but it's nice to speak to other people in the same boat. I'd never heard of it before. If it gets too bad you'll need to see a physio. Have a look on the net for a condition called SPD (?? pelvic disorder). Good luck
