im 26 weeks pregnant, and i have just been diagnosed with internal piles by a specialist. he wants to remove them using "Banding" after ive had the baby. im really nervous about this as its done in outpatients without anestectic. has anyone every experienced this proceedure before? i have a thing about that area of my body and am not sure i would be able to cope with this happening to me while im awake. Do you think their is a way i could get them to agree to a general? thanks to anyone who responds, im quite agitated.
