White Spots On Belly And Thighs

I have these white discolorations on my belly and thighs. I was told by some co-workers that these will be cellulite spots after I give birth. Is this true?

I have them every where and gained very little weight. The pigment in your skin can change during pregnancy. I also have red dots in several places that I have read are common in pregnant women also.

Klm, Thank you for your response. I have some red dots too. I started out very thin before I got pregnant but I have gained a lot of weight. I am 31 weeks and have already gained 43 lbs! I also have the dark vertical line on my belly. I have heard this goes away after pregnancy. I used to sunbathe alot so I wonder if you have more pigment changes if you used to be in the sun all the time. Have you already had your baby?

no not yet, I'm 37 weeks. I have that line too! Just curious to compare, my skin type is fair and I am irish so I have lots of freckles, what is your skin type?

Wow...any day now you can give birth! I also have fair skin (very few freckles) and blond hair blue eyes. I am mostly of Ukrainian descent.
