i noticed when getting my belly measured it feels sore at the top of my belly. It never really made me think twice about it before, and I just blew it off as normal. I had an another ultrasound down last week and i noticed when she went over the top part of my belly I felt a lil discomfort and was hoping she wouldn't go over that area again. I was just thinking about this and was wondering what this could be and why does it feel sore? I can push/press on that spot and no discomfort, so why when they do it?

Hi Pinkkisses... how far along are you? I'm guessing it is probably just your tummy muscles stretching and shifting to cover that new roundness that's growing... I think it's nothing to worry about. I'm 23 weeks and my belly has been hurting on and off for about a month now, usually on the top of my belly right were my ribcage ends, and especially when I've had a lot of exercise. Of course if it bothers you, you should definitely check with your doctor... but I don't think it's anything dangerous. :o)
