is anyone around 5 weeks and you just dont feel pregnant? i just feel like i am not preggo anymore, but i have a few subtle symptoms. i have had 2 miscarriages in the last 6 months so i am a little worried about every little thing! thanks

My symptoms didn't really hit me until I was 6 1/2 weeks. I never really "felt" pregnant until I saw the actual baby. I have had 4 miscarrages without ever seeing a fetus, so this is very exciting for me. My symptoms have also been going in waves. Nothing for a week then BAM, Im floored with morning sickness for a day. Im now 9 weeks and feel totally normal. I would be worried but I just had an u/s and the baby is growing normally with a healthy heartbeat. I know it's hard but try and relax and think positive.

Hi, When do you go to doctor? I hope all is well.... I'm approx. 9 weeks now but my symptoms are very EXTREME- my four previous children they were mild but with this pregnancy has been since DAY 1.... Is this your first pregnancy? Sorry to hear for both you dizoney and Jbentley about previous miscarriages...

Hi Dizoney - I am in the same boat as you. I am 5w2d today and have no symptoms. I have had 2 m/c in the past year (first one was actually a year ago tomorrow). I am going crazy! I had sore b___bs in the beginning, but now that symptoms seems to have faded away. When do you go for your first u/s? I don't go until 4/23 - I will be 8 1/2 weeks by then.

I remember being pregnant 5 weeks during my several pregnancies and not feeling any symptoms. However I had very earl symptoms that seemed to recess after 4 weeks and pick up again by 6 or 7 weeks.

Hello, by my own dates I am around 5 weeks myself and I was just asking my sister if not feeling any symptons was normal lol so I'm glad to see this forum. I had a long continuous cramp, then really bad cramps, no bleeding, then little cramps and now nothing, just a little discomfort when I'm trying to find a sleeping position. This is my first pregnancy and I'm real nervous, I am making my first appt to see a doc tomorrow, I hope all is well .. Congrats laies and Good Luck with everything!

It's good to see that somebody else has this question, as well. I am 5 weeks and 4 days today and not feeling pregnant. I get the occasional b___st tenderness & feeling nauseous, but other than that I've been feeling great. I always seem to be tired, though. My first u/s is 4/12.

When I was 5w I was asking myself the same thing...why do I feel great, no nausea, no nothing. Just a bit more tired. Then 6 wks hit me, and I've been feeling c___ppy since then...don't worry, you still have time to start feeling ms. I think most people start feeling it at 6 - 8 wks. I'm 11w today.

I am just over 5 weeks, counting from my LMP (I guess that's how you do it) and I do not feel pregnant at all! I have sore b___sts, nipples mostly, but I think that's about it!

Girl, i said the same thing when i was 5 weeks too. In the middle of my 6 weeks i started getting really bad nausea and the vomiting soon followed. I am now 8 weeks and feeling terrible. If youre not having any symptoms yet, wait and if you dont get them, count your blessings. Theres nothing worst than trying to get up to work and function as a normal person feeling sick all the time. I have alot of hunger pains that are just unreal but i dont feel like eating anything because i am nauseaus all the time and when i get to finally eat something, i get horrible. I cant stand any smells and my favorite foods wich were seafood, i cant barely think of before throwing up. Yuck.

thank you all for the feedback. of course, i can't help but feel worried but you all made it a little better. i have had some slight symptoms lately- sensitive gag reflex, stretching ligaments, and i am still really tired and hungry!

I am really glad to see this posting. I should have read down further before posting one myself that was similar. I guess it helps to read. I am about six weeks along I think - it says today is week six on the pregnancy calculator - does that mean the first day of week six or that I am now six weeks along (as in, almost seven). It is all very confusing. I have only mild pregnancy symptoms like sore b___sts, mild cramping, some smell aversions but no real morning sickness. All of the books that I have looked at keep telling me how great it is if you have morning sickness and that it means that the baby is healthy so I have been freaking out that my baby isn't healthy or doing great because I haven't had morning sickness. Thanks for sharing ladies.

same here, i'm 6 weeks now though. I just feel where my abdomen has gotten hard and take that as a sign that he/she's still in there, lol. I know it's probably kind of weird for 6 weeks but sometimes when i feel there to, i can feel something beating,i like to tell myself it's the heart,it could just be some other body part, but that also helps rea__sure me,just don't try to do it all the time,if you press to hard it's probably not a good thing to do,lol.

hannah, A lot of MS means that the pregnancy hormones are high (which is a good sign). However, you can have high hormones and not have any MS at all. Being more sick doesn't mean your baby is healthier. It's just an indicator that probably everything is going well. However, since no 2 pregnancies are the same (even for the same woman), there's no way one can say that something is wrong if you don't have MS. My mom was telling me of a her friend's dil who just had a baby...she had no MS, worked until almost the last day and had a 25 min labor. Some people are just lucky! Count how many complete weeks have pa__sed since your LMP and that's how many weeks you're pregnant...so you could be 6 weeks or in your 7th week ... that's the same thing.

I think my baby decided to kick my b___t for posting here. I hit my 5wk5day mark...forget it. I've been nauseous since then.
