Bleeding And Discharge Should I Be Concerned

I'm 6+ weeks pregnant. I began spotting about a week ago. This turned into a light period and has now returned to spotting. I have had no cramps or stomach/ab pains but my spotting now has a foul smell. Although the blood began as a brown colour it has now turned red and has had some small bits in it a couple of times. I had s_x a couple of times - do you think this has triggered the bleeding? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

I can't get to see the doctor until later this week - should I treat this case as an emergency?
