I just got pregnant and I get really bad morning sickness. I get it all morning, day and sometimes at night. When I sleep I dont get it too often. Is there something I can take or do to help this? How long does it last for?

I am in Canada and I don't know where you are, but I am 8 wks pregnant and have morning sickness like you all the time bad. I talked to my dr and he gave me a prescription called dicletin. It is great...a little expensive but a life savor. It helps with the sickness and nausea I can't go through a day without taking them.

I am also +/- 8 weeks pregnant and i had three kids already and never have i experianced morning sickness like this before. I find that eating cream crackers & cheese help. I have also stoped smoking, so i think going cold turkey has something to do with it. Good luck

Morning sickness will often start at the first signs of pregnancy... but it usually is at it's worst around the 8th week... that is because this is the point when the HCG (pregnancy hormone) in your system is at it's highest.... it begins to dwindle down at about 12 weeks... and that is also when morning sickness usually begins to lessen as well!
