You answered my prayers. I have had diarrhea for the last two days and I was going to post on here about it -- but I guess its normal!

Hey I was researching the topic and I found this thread that seems to have originated so many years ago, aint that funny? But since some of it was more recent I figured I would bring it up so we can read experiences as opposed to a new one (for now). Has anyone here experienced this as opposed to the infamous "constipation"? I have had diarreah for the past few days but ONLY first thing in the morning. It's more of very very loose bowel movements and ONLY in the mornings. Anyone on this boat with me care to share?

Hi all, I have been ttc for 10months and have PCOS so periods very irregular but started feeling dizzy, tired and very nausous over the past week along with uncomfortable diarrhea.... could be just a bug I suppose but thought I would ask for your opinions!!

Sandy - Yes, it is funny that so many have had diarrhea in first few weeks. When I was about 5 wks, I started getting sort of loose motions every other day and at random times of day... Felt like I was going after about each meal and was worried about nutrition to fetus. Told my doc and they said no worries. Also read on some websites, that the embryo/fetus in first few weeks is not only going off of what u eat now, but also what is stored in your body. This is why they say prepare your body's nutrition / supplment intake for 3 to 6 months before ttc... Esp because in first trim with nausea / etc, most are not able to eat enough or eat the necessary foods. Anyway, found all this out as researching after found out I was losing the baby at 7 weeks. Now I am supposed to miscarry anytime or may do d&c. I am glad to know that the diarrhea didn't cause the m/c.... I was concerned and worried about that.

I too am only having diarrhea in the morning! EVERY morning! I think I may be pregnant but it is still to early to find out. I should be started my period in three days.(Sat) This is about the 5th morning with it. I am going to try a HPT in the morning with my Husband....I HOPE that the diarrhea will let me have my peace just for a minute!! :) I too was worried about it...so I came online. i wish i had diarreah instead of this hoorible constipation!!

My husband and I have been trying for 3 months. He recently was cursed with the stomach virus, 7 days later I started having extreme cramping and pains in my stomach. No vomiting and was constipated for two days. Then I started having the diarrhea. I have been eating very little and the bratt diet. 4 days till aunt flow comes and hoping its pregnancy and not the stomach virus!

Several of you have said you have had these strange boughts of diarrhea, and you have said "it is too soon to test"... So, have any of you tested ? Are you pregnant ? I am having the same symptons, we have been trying and could be pregnant ... I am about 4 days away from being able to take a test. Would LOVE to know if some of you with these issues during the potential early stages of pregnancy have taken tests and are they positive!??

Hello, pardon my ignorance but can someone please define dpo? Also further to sk8nduck's question - have any of the women who had diarrhea early but were too early to test - tested positive? there is a possibility that i could be pregnant and have had diarrhea, nausea and extreme fatigue ..

I am a week late now, tested negative and still no sign of period.

I have now done 3 tests and all negative so am waiting till 19 days po to test as no idea when my period is due. Have had 'loose' bowel every morning for about 10 days. Also have mucus discharge (atractive i know) and really shattered. Sooo glad about what i read here. Good luck everyone! xx

I was just wondering about the whole diarrhea thing. I am ttc and have had diarrhea the past 2 days. I know with my other 2 kids, I had diarrhea, but Im pretty sure I already knew I was pregnant. Could this be a sign of pregnancy?

With this one I have had a few bouts; but with my daughter, every time I turned around I had diarrhea! Just make sure you're taking plenty of folic acid. I drank lots of water to help ease mine. I don't know what medicines are safe to take or not. Mine went away on it's own. Now I have the opposite problem! :-D

Oh Goodness! Pregnancy brain alert!!! I just read the date on this! And to the poster above yes, it most certainly could be. Like I said, with my daughter I had it nearly from day one. Phew, thought I might be talking to ghosts there. :)
