If I were you the first thing I would demand from my doctor would be a ultrasound and if your doctor has not done one I would consider finding a new doctor,And the reason I say this is because there are alot of things that come to mind when I read your story and I dont mean to alarm you but if you are 2 months pregnate your hormone should be of the charts I know that somtimes a eptopic pregnancy will cause pregnancy symptoms but the HCG will not rise at a normal rate keep in mind a ectopic doesn't have to be in the tube it can also be in the ovary, cervix or other places in the abdomen. 95 percent of the time an tubal pregnancy occurs in the tube but it can happen.
Ectopic pregnancy occures in 1 of every 100 pregnancies chances of an ectopic increase if you have damage to the fallopion tubes from inflammatory disease other infection such as ruppered appendix,or any type of abdominal surgery also if you have ever had a ectopic you are 12% more likely to have another. If HCG levels do not rise as they should a abnomal pregnancy is suspected A woman may have a high level of HCG but no pregnancy will be present inside the uterus during a ultrasound examination,Most ectopic pregnanacies are detected around 6 to 8 weeks of pregnancy. I am not trying to scare you but I know how it can be to not be able to get pregnate on your own or when you want it Ive tried for many years and I have been through many miscarriges and just conceived in April I am now 16 weeks and I went through all the tests because I am high risk, take it from me finding the problem early (if there is one)is the key to your fertility in the future I wish you the best of luck and hope everything works out for you.

I had a similar situation with my first child. However, I was spotting and thought I was miscarrying. My hcg levels were not doubling every other day and I was really worried. I hadn't had a regular period in over a year and had no idea how far along I was. Eventually, everything worked itself out. I had an ultrasound and ruled out an etopic pregnancy. I am with Shannon, you need to have an ultrasound!! I now have a healthy four year old. Hope everything goes well!
