Amelia... Ashley2121 is right you do sound like you could be pregnant and taking a test before your missed cycle is likely to prove negative... There is the chance that you can get a positive result once the implantation bleed has stopped as that is when the HCG hormone starts to develop, this is what causes the pregnancy symptons you describe... BUT.... there are alot of women who fail to test positive for the first few MONTHS believe it or not and some women continue to have random bleeding during pregnancy also... if you take a test during the day or at night there is a high chance that your urine (sorry to be graphic) will be diluted by what you consume and the HCG will prove harder to detect... If you dont get a positive test soon then go to the doctor and get a beta hcg blood test done, this will detect even the smallest amounts of the hcg hormone... baby dust to you...!!!

I experienced implantation bleeding in place of my actual period. It was very light, then went to just spotting. Lasted for 3 days :]

Hi there all....Im new to this site and was reading about all of your experiences. I am 28 years old and currently on 100mg of clomid. Had an iui may 20th and started very dark brown spotting on the 27th. Im 9dpo today and it seems to still be around. Could this be implantation bleeding or is it just a very early period? Any suggestions/advice/input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I had implantation bleeding, it lasted about 7 days for me. which I thought was weird because even my period only lasts for 4-5 days. The difference for me was the implantation bleeding was just brown discharge with light and random bouts of light red/pink spotting. It was not painful (usually af makes me miserable with cramps). I then noticed my bbs were still sore and even filling in my bras so much that I felt I was going to pop out. Then the nausea and food aversions. I waited about two weeks after the "bleeding" ended just to make sure. My symptoms were still there and becoming stronger day by day. I took two tests yesterday at night both came up BFP right away. No delay. I've heard it can last from 2-7 days, although 7 days was pushing it for me, I really thought I either miscarried or had an off period till Hubby bought me two tests yesterday as a surprise. I hope this helps! I think I may be having multiples......

oh please tell me someone still reads this thread! I need help! My LMP began June 18th, my cycle I estimated to be around 25 days, it has changed the last six months but I averaged it to be 25 days. That means I ovulated on June 29th. I had s_x on June 26, without a condom. I had started taking the mini pill one month prior to this, not sure if it worked or not...but, I have had this feeling I am pregnant, and then today, I started bleeding...I dont know if it is implantation bleeding or not. My period (even if early) would not be until next MOnday. I am 5 days early for it. It is a light flow, doesn't even require a panty liner, if I wipe, then there is blood, light pink..just like most people say. I have some cramping as well, headaches. I had really swollen ankles two days ago but they finally went down. So I have taken some tests all negative, but I know that doesn't mean anything. I don't know if this is implantation bleeding, an irregular period (both in terms of timing and intensity) caused by the mini pill, or if I am having a miscarriage! How do I set my mind at ease here?? any advice would be greatly appreciated...I'm as I said, totally confused and not sure what to do at this point. I plan ot take my next test on Saturday, but even then, I won't really know anything either. Should I go to the doctor?

ive also been very confused about IMPLANTATION BLEEDING. ive been having unprotected s_x with my boyfriend for the last year now (using the "pull out" method only) and i thought i was pregnant a few times before only to see the negative sign on the pregnancy tests. im a young adult and just recently (as of July 1st) my boyfriend and i have been trying to conceive. i dont know when i ovulate & i dont know my cycle. i just figured if we have s_x everyday of the month, somethings gotta happen. its only been almost 9 days since ive been TRYING, but for the past 3 days ive been feeling extremely bloated and at times a little achey and uneasy in my lower stomach- lower back pain and stiffness, too (its pretty uncomfortable, but i would not say im in a lot of pain). these symptoms sound like a normal period is going to occur, but i know my body and it doesnt usually go through this much discomfort. also around 3 days ago i started experiencing on and off very light pink discharge when wiping after using the restroom. it faded off for half a day but came back. only the blood got brighter and it seems to be mixed with clear mucus or murky, cloudy-like discharge. after i woke up this morning and used the restroom i noticed when i wiped it looked kinda like period blood. it didnt seem heavy and i dont have to use a pad or tampon. my normal period is usually heavy. the thing that really confuses me is that around 2 weeks ago i was having this same thing (which is weird for my body to bleed in between periods) but i didnt think of pregnancy at all! i have not had my normal period yet since this all has happened. but throughout today it just looks like im going to start my period again. DOES MY SITUATION SOUND LIKE ANYONE ELSES?? IS POSSIBLE I COULD BE GOING THROUGH THESE SYMPTOMS SO SOON AFTER ONLY TRYING FOR THE LAST 9 DAYS?? DO YOU THINK ME SPOTTING 2 WEEKS AGO AND AGAIN NOW IS AN INDICATION THAT MAYBE I COULD HAVE CONCEIVED BEFORE I ACTUALLY STARTED TRYING??? COULD I BE PREGNANT AND STILL BE BLEEDING AT THE SAME TIME LIKE IVE EXPLAINED?? does it seem like im being too hopeful? please help!!

I had ImpB for 1 day 6 dpo that was just very light pink barely noticeably, then again with this pregnancy I had it 10 dpo and it lasted 4 days again barely noticeable, light brown sometimes light red or pink but never clots. Never enough to need a tampon or pad (if you are suspicious you might be pregnant you should never wear a tampon). The first pregnancy I tested 4 days before my expected period and got a positive, the second one I waited until a week after I stopped bleeding and got a positive. I did not get cramps with either. Hey i dont know if anyone still reads this, BUT I HOPE SO! My last period was on the 4 of august, and i have a normal 29 day cycle. From the 10-18 we had s_x and on the 18th, my nipples started to hurt SOOO bad i couldnt even keep my nighty on!! ((sorry tmi)) I started feeling nausea right from then, at random times throughout the day. Then on the 24th, when i wiped i saw a drop maybe two of light pink blood. Thought it was weird, so wiped once more and had it again, but i have not had it since!!! COULD THIS HAVE BEEN IMPLANTATION? My nipples hurting went away ((oh i NEVER get sore nipples by the way)) BUT my b___bs have been a little tender. Here are the symptoms i have now: -Tender b___sts, that are also really veiny and the little white /pink dots around my nipples are showing up -Nausea, all the time, but especially when i wake up, feel better once i eat -Peeing ALOT more often then i do!!! - EMOTIONAL?? My husband said i have been very irratable the past few days, and i cry at EVERYTHING OH! one more thing....IMPORTANT! Yesterday ((the 25th) I woke up at 4:30 in the morning, REALly had to pee, and i had such bad gas/bloating/cramps, it felt like my period was here! Has anyone experienced this in early pregnancy?? Hoping to be a mommy with my Husband!!! *baby dust*

Okay so I was recently married on July 3rd of this year. My hubby and I haven't actually been trying for a baby, but we haven't done anything to prevent pregnancy. My last period was July 28-30. Everyone keeps telling me I'm pregnant, but I don't think I am. My body has been changing, though. My b___sts are swollen and tender, my nipples are very sore and red. My areolas seemed to have gotten darker and I have these goosebump-type bumps around my nipples. I'm tired all the time. Not tired... exhausted and I'm also very emotional. I used the bathroom tonight and when I wiped there was a clear discharge with some pink with it. I took a pregnancy test a week ago to prove to my hubby that I'm not pregnant and it was negative. I've had a natural miscarriage before (July 2008). I'm hoping, with what I've written, to get all of your opinions on if you think I'm pregnant or not. I didn't have implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy so I don't know if what I had tonight was implantation bleeding and I don't know why my b___sts have changed or why I'm so tired. If anyone could help me out, I'd appreciate it.

I forgot to mention that my b___sts have gotten these rather large blue veins running through them now that were not noticable before a few days ago. Is this something to worry about?

Ashely , Sounds alot like me! I just got married July 18, and a few people have said they think im pregnant! I have had lots of the symptoms ((LISTED ABOVE)) and I am hoping I AM pregnant, but trying not to get my hopes up!!! My husbands mother was even over and asked me how late i was and i said ...im not... and she said i think your pregnant! I also took a pregnancy test yesterday, but it was still a week before my expected period! Of course it was negative.... BUT another thing is i always...ALWAYS get pre-period cramps like a week before my period, and no sign of them this time so far... I HAVE HAD CRAMPS...but they are definately NOT my pre-period cramps. More like a slight twinge or pull..and they hurt some times, but other times, they just tingle. Who knows right??? it could be a million things. But i would be extremely blessed by God if i was given the gift of a baby!! ASHELY- ALSO...I have those goosebump type looking things around my nipple that i never had before...more so on one b___sts, and they kind of look like a pink pimple??? lol A couple of days ago, about 7 days dpo, i wiped and have a few drops of pink blood on the tissue, wiped again, and had it once more....almost not noticeable, but i caught it, and i have not had it since!! Hoping2bmommy- I've been having those odd cramps too and I know they're not pre-period cramps. It's not the severe cramping I get with my periods, more like a pull (like you said). Also, I used to be able to sleep on my stomach and have slept so since I was two years old in my first toddler bed and the past couple nights my lower abdomin has felt very tender, forcing me to sleep on my side. I would be so happy if I were to find out I was pregnant, but I'm fine with it either way. There's always more time. Afterall, I'm only 19. I hope everything goes the way you're hoping. Thats great!!!!! I really hope you are :) :) I am still about 3 days before my missed period, and i took a test today but it was negative, still i think im pregnant! Big sore b___bs with the white bumps...but i dont know :( Maybe its just in my head. Trying not to get my hopes up. Thought maybe i felt pre-period cramp today... *sigh* Really hoping I am, but its in God's hands. I think it was to early to test, but i got excited. Well, I took a test this morning out of excitement. It was one of those 3 drops on a strip tests that a friend got me from the hospital. It was negative so I'm waiting for two weeks and if my period don't come I'm retesting. Last night I was so hungry so I decided to make some hamburgers and as soon as they started cooking the smell hit me hard and I ended up throwing up a few times. My b___sts are still super sore. Then an hour ago my husband had a hamburger and the smell of ketchup hit me and I got really sick again. I'm not sure what's going on but I just don't feel right. I can't wait to find out.
