Hi. I had IB with my first child (now 2) about 5 days before AF was due i remember feeling bummed that AF was arriving early. It lasted 2 days, not enough to wear a pad. But I remember feeling like AF was going to be here anytime as I was feeling so 'wet' (sorry tmi). This time round (TTC No 2) I'm confused. I'm not charting or anything, but around about CD11 I had abdominal cramps and when I went to the toilet and wiped there was a blob of mucus with pink/red blood in it. So I thought this must have been me ovulating early. Me and DH had BD'd twice over the 5 days prior to that and so that night we BD'd more. The very next day my b___sts started to be really sore and heavy and they were so for about 7 days and then the heaviness and pain went so I thought we didn't succeed. But then last Sunday morning (CD 23) I started spotting (brown) and also having loads of AF-type cramps it only lasted 1 day and was not even enough to warrant panty liner. Then I started spotting again on Tuesday, but again it was literally 2 small drops of brown. Every time I go to the loo there is a little brown when I wipe but not enough to be on my pantyliner. AF is due Friday. I took 3 HPTs and so far all BFN. Every morning I seem to have mild af-type of cramping but nothing else. My b___bs are still not sore at all and not even swell however they are quite warm to the touch, I have felt more tired but not what I would consider fatigued. For the past 2 nights I have experienced waking up in the middle of the night to go to the loo and then not being able to go back to sleep (insomnia). I am either hot or cold, keep going from sweats to chills. Quite moody, oh and my bowel movements have gone all sluggish (constipated). I do not feel 'wet' like I did with my daughter. There's no sign of mucus or anything. I seem to need to pee more often though and it feels uncomfortable but not painful to lie on my belly. Now all of this could be PMS symptoms or early pg symptoms. Has anyone experienced a loss of b___st tenderness in their tww and no mucus discharge and implantation bleeding and went on to have a BFP? I will test again on Friday when AF is due but I'm not holding my breath. I'm just wondering what is it with the spotting...

Kell123--- that does sound like it is implantation but i had also had this on my 6month ttc and i was not pregnant either. But i am hoping you have a better outcome!! let us know good luck

My ectopic was the beginning of February. It wasn't a tubal ectopic. They called it a Pregnancy of an Unknown location (PUL).

Have you still been having unprotected s_x hopelesstrying? Have u had any brown discharge?

Kell123-- I am still trying after a year and a half, i jsut started my first round of Clomid this month and am now in the 2ww!! i really hope this is my month!!

Hi everyone! I am looking for some advice I really hope someone can help. I have had irregular periods and ovulation so i have started taking Clomid. I am on my second month of clomid, last month it seemed to have regulated things. I Had a 30 day cycle. This month I used an OPK and had s_x the same day as my LH surge (7 days ago, Sept. 19). My period is not due till Oct. 1 but 2 days ago (Sept. 24) I started with some on and off light cramping and yesturday morning when i wiped i had a brown discharge. Today i still have discharge but it is more like a light pink mucus discharge as well as the on and off cramping. Is it normal to have these types of discharges one week before your period when on clomid, could it be my period really eaerly or could i finally be pregnant? thanks for any help you can give me.

Very confused and maybe someone can help me out. I am 37 years old and mom to an almost 11 year old and 16 year old. I remember bleeding full out with my youngest (clots, heavy bleeding...) Everything was fine and I did this until the 4th month. My dh and I have had several m/c's over the last 10 years ttc another. My LMP was 08/27/11 this following a month when I had no period but came around the time I should have regardless. I don't remember it being "heavy" either, but def normal with at least a few days of heavy flow and normal cramping. Since having lost 70+ lbs I have noticed most of the time I am regular and they come between 28 and 36 days. I figure the only reason for the skip in periods from june to august was because of a m/c we suffered on father's day this year. I am pretty sure about the days we bd'ed and can only think of 2 of the days for sure (9/8 and 9/17) there were a couple of more but don't recall them. I started having a lot of 'maybe pregnancy' signs: sore b___sts, swelled b___sts and painful to the touch nipples, nauseas, fatigue, my face broke in a few spots and my not-so-prominent birthmark on my forehead became very bright (it is the only thing that hasn't changed yet). I tested with several FRER--all either neg or inconclusive (as there may have been a line--but just couldn't tell); Dollar General tests (a couple appearred to have faint +'s and few were completely neg); went to a pregnancy clinic last week--their test came back neg. but they told me to come back this week. So here is my problem. My period was due on October 2nd (the latest); on thursday night I had used the bathroom--light pink/watery discharge on the tp just once; friday during the day--used the bathroom had some pinkish-brown on tp once and when I got up I noticed that there were 3 distinct "donut" shaped drops of dark red blood in the toliet and some mucous that was streaked with blood in it. Saturday--pink/brown spotting a couple of times that day nothing major/that night--bright red splotch on tp-put pad on that night thinking the worst or that af was coming. Sunday--woke to find nothing on pad; red splotch #2 on tp. and hit&miss with the pink/brown/red spotting on tp only. Had a cramp here and there, but nothing to bad and still nothing showing up on pad. Monday--red splotch #3 on tp--a few tiny spots of brown/yellow stuff on pad; cramping a couple of times, nothing major or alarming. Today--spotting on tp is back to pretty much pinkish-brown. I went ahead and checked my cp and it is midway up closed and feels "weird" (like it has closed in on itself?? it's kind of soft on the outside and hard underneath)My cm was thin/watery with a pale pink-light brown tint to it. I am just not sure if this was my period for this month or if I should go back to the clinic and let them do another hpt? Has anyone gone through something similiar or know of someone who has? Pregnant or not--I will be ok with the result. All replies are appreciated. Thanks...

Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I am a newlywed and have just celebrated my first anniversary with my husband:) I have been on birth control (Alesse) for over 6 years. But I missed two pills in a row in my third week (which I have never done before) on Sept 23 and 24. We had made love on those days. I took two pills to compensate on the 25th and then started a new pack. I got what I thought was my AF one day early on Sept 29, but its not normal. Its brown, more spotty, and much lighter than my normal AF. Its lasted 5 days. I'm still taking the pills but I suspect that I am pregnant (also feeling queasy for the last week or so). I bought a clearblue test and am wondering when I should take it? I would love to hear opinions out there. I would be delighted if I'm pregnant but I do not want to take the test too soon! feelinghopeful: It sounds like we are in very similiar situations..Other than the fact that I am not on the pill--I had that weird spotting too..I have been such a "B" to my hubby and kids, fatigued yet can't go to sleep at night, nothing sounds good to eat either. I haven't noticed my b___sts hurting like they did around mid september. I had taken some hpts that like I mentioned were inconclusive or just plain (-). I am going tomorrow and hopefully get another hpt to see if the spotting I had (which had stopped by last night) and see what I get. If it's neg than I know I just had a weird cycle--if it's positive--it will hopefully be a dark, or definite bfp. My hubby thinks that I was spotting like I did with our daughter in the beginning but for some reason I only remember bleeding and clotting in the 4th month. I also noticed that yesterday when I wiped there was a "yellow" discharge mixed with some brown on the tp...I know I don't have a UTI or infection of any sort down there--I have in the past (yeast infections, etc.) So here's baby wishes for the both of us! I would just like to know one way or the other so I can move on. Keep me updated--Steph

Hi patientlywaiting2012. Thanks so much for your comments. I took my pregnancy test this morning and it was a negative:( I was so disappointed but I'm wondering if I took it too soon? Given that I only missed on the 23rd and if we happened to conceive even on that day, its only been 12 days since. Is it possible I'm still pregnant? I hope so. Have you gotten a blood test? it might be more conclusive than the pregnancy tests. Lots of baby dust to you!
