I normally have very heavy, regular PAINFUL periods.... Me and my boyfriend had intercourse 2 days after my period and the next evening I got a sharp pain in my lower belly on the left that lasted 5 mins... about 10 days later I got it again but on the same day I got spotting, like a goey pink at first for a day, then it stopped, the next day I had a brown/pink discharge, then the next day it was red and has been gettin heavier throughout the day... So far I am just using pantyliners but going to the loo more often to keep an eye on it, I am not due on for another 7 days and have NO PAIN ATALL now so I dont get it... I never spot or bleed mid-cycle... and I have had a few other mild pg symptons too... Can implantaion bleeding be heavier than light spotting? I really suspect that I'm pregnant... anyone? please? lol I'm going mad! xxx

Hi, The spotting lasted for just 3 days and then i had clear to milky discharge, which is kinds of heavier than my ovul;ation discharge.I still feel sore in lower abdomen, especially in the pevic area and also on my left side.I tested twice yesterday, both came back negative.could i still be pregnant?

Hi Mysti, Did you have transv____al ultrasound before and had spotting or bleeding after your exam? Because i spotted for 3 days (which would be day 25 of my cycle).It was very light brown spotting on day 1 , and day 2 i had bright red but very light bleeding (i needed only 1 panty liner for that day ), day 3 very light brown spotting, thats it.neXt 2 days i had heavy white to clear discharge.and today is day 7 since the bleeding and pg test still came back negative. I have the following symptoms: sore pelvic area, bloating, frequent urination.headaches. My periods are always irrefular , it between 33-40 days. today is day 31.

Hey Nel31... Well no I havent had any ultrasound yet... I took a test a few days ago on the first day of my spotting and it came back neg, and a week before that too which was also negative... I dont know if I'm pregnant yet, just suspect that I am... Alot of women sometimes dont test positive for the first couple of months from what I have researched so dont let a negative test put you off just yet... keeping leaving a bit and testing again, I have also researched that alot of people have bleeding mistaken for periods untill a few months gone also... You could still be pregnant in my opinion and so could I, we just need to wait a bit and keep checking and I will certainly keep this thread updated as to whether I am or not... Hope that helps... Would be really good for both of us to hear from some women who have had what we had and resulted in pregnancy :D Baby dust to you x

I checked with my doc on the day of my bleeding, she said its not usual to have spotting or bleeding after tv ultrasound, she asked if i could be pregnant. This morning I am still feeling dull pain on lower left side and still having white to clear discharge.I took 4 pf , all came back negative. I will take pg test this sunday which would be 37 day of my cycle .Keeping my fingers crossed. Baby Dust to you too:-), Good luck.Please keep me posted.

Well I am still bleeding today but its still not likee a normal period and still I have no pain or anything, I tested negative still today so will wait another week or so or untill it stops and will test again... Baby dust to you too!

today is day 34, still did not get my period. waiting on pelvic ultrasound and day 24 results. last couple of days had dull , sudden pain in my left pelvic area.still have it, not sure why. preg test came back negative yesterday.will take another in couple of days.

No, the pain is just in my left pelvic area down to back.Its not much today. How far are you from AF? Mine last from 33-42 days, so i will keep testing until day 50 and visit doc if i still dont get my AF by then :-).

I was supposed to get AF on monday, like 3/4 days time, should get my blood results by monday so am keeping my fingers crossed for the both of us :)

Hi i have a question; My last period began on the 17th April, my husband & I had intercourse on the 27th,29th, 30th april + 1st may,this is when i should have been most fertile. I have not yet began my period which was due on the 16th may & have today experienced very light brownish pink spotting which can only be seen when I wipe & appears to be mixed with clear mucus. I have also started to feel waves of nauzea. I tested negative 2 days before my period was due, but I dnt think implantation had occured, will a pregnancy test only show positive after implantation has occured? I have also had these symptoms: very sore b___sts, itchy, tingly nipples which have darkened & become more sensitive, they have also got larger & light blue veins are more visable running through the nipple mild cramps for the past 2 weeks & a pulling sensation across my abdomen, which also feels harder increased milky white / clear v____al discharge craving for eggs & beef burgers, although I am usually a veggie & I used to love porridge but feel sick when I now try to eat it! A metalic taste when eating fruit?! mild headaches / dizzyness & feeling of being hungry only ahort while after eating.

ameilia - WOW it sure sounds like you might be pregnant! I have read online that if you take a test BEFORE your missed period chances are it will come out as a false negative. It is best to wait until the 1st day AFTER your missed period to get the most accurate results (even in some cases that may be to early). Have you tested again? THe veins in my b___sts was one of my 1st physical symptoms of being pregnant other than the discharge. Good luck to you!

Amelia... Ashley2121 is right you do sound like you could be pregnant and taking a test before your missed cycle is likely to prove negative... There is the chance that you can get a positive result once the implantation bleed has stopped as that is when the HCG hormone starts to develop, this is what causes the pregnancy symptons you describe... BUT.... there are alot of women who fail to test positive for the first few MONTHS believe it or not and some women continue to have random bleeding during pregnancy also... if you take a test during the day or at night there is a high chance that your urine (sorry to be graphic) will be diluted by what you consume and the HCG will prove harder to detect... If you dont get a positive test soon then go to the doctor and get a beta hcg blood test done, this will detect even the smallest amounts of the hcg hormone... baby dust to you...!!!
