Hi Kim, How are you doing? Mine has popped out just a bit. It shows only when I wear maternity. But yeah it is starting very little to show now, not whole lots. I thought so....... that my tummy wasn't showing, but before I boarded the flight, one woman told me that you are so wise enough to keep walking and bla bla bla. I was so happy that hah finally people can guess. So yeah, I am so excited for your next appointment. Make sure u tell your doc or tech to explain it all for ya. Have a nice trip and enjoy lots. well ladies i still have not got my progesterone results from the dr. yet i go back friday 5-26-06 for my first ultrasound. i'll be 6 weeks by then. but i am taking the prochieve 4% and everything seems ok so far. today i am starting a stronger dosage of prochieve the 8% gel. i had some pinkish color blood yesterday morning when i wiped myself and it sort of scared me. so i requested a higher dose of progesterone. the spotting has stopped now, but i have to be on the safe side.

Hi Nursej, It is good that you asked for the higher dose. All the best for your appt. It is tomorrow, so the doc will most likely discuss your results with you then. Take lots of care and don't work too hard, if there is some pinkish discharge. God bless and take care!

Hi Avi... I am back home now and extremely worn out. I had a horrible trip back. Yesterday I took my grandpa out to breakfast because my grandma has the flu and well as I was getting out of the car my shoe lace got caught on something and I fell. I am pretty sore. My knees are all sc___ped and my sides are sore. I feel like I was hit by a bus. Then the driver picked us up for the airport 45 min. early and I had to rush to pack. I didnt even have my clothes together. Some were still in the dryer. LOL. Then when we got to airport, the lady behind the counter changed my seats right in from on me because of a mix up. She put me in the middle. I tried to explain to her that I have to keep getting up to us the restroom. She just said fix any seat issues at the gate. So my husband grabbed the bags to take on the plane and we went to the gate.... as I was balling my eyes out. Probably something I would not normally cry over. Then the only 1 good thing out of this trip home was after my husband went to the counter to explain everything and they gave him 2 free first cla__s upgrades. Then we had to change planes in PA. well the president of the US was there and he caused a 3 hour back up because of airforce one. Seriously, no joke, I was no mad. There is only so much plain cheese pizza from sbarros that a pregnant women can eat. LOL. Then from PA home.. the man in back of me had his head phones so loud that I could hear every word. and when the flight attendent asked him to shut them off for take off... after she walked away he turned them right back on... as it wasnt enough after we landed, we discovered that they had lost our luggage. How i dont now. but as I was standing in line last night to report it at the baggage claim, my husband drops my lap top. I can tell you that 5 months ago I could have done this no problem... but It seemed to take alot out of me. We finally got home around midnight last night and they delivered our lost luggage at 6 am. this morning. other then that things are ok. My feet have been swelliing and My nausea is still there. How about you? how are you feeling? Have you felt the baby move yet? Oh and on a good note... I was able to find the heartbeat on the home doppler. Turns out, I had been hearing it all along... lol i just didnt know what I was hearing because it was so low. How are you feet? Do you still have swelling? Oh my! Kim...this is too much for one day to happen. how are your knees and feet? You might need more rest than usual. How are your grandparents? Thye must be so happy to see you, your DH and little one yet to come inside you. It is good that your DH was with ya during travelling. It is no joke falling when pregnant. But you are okay where the baby is right? Somethings we can't stop...they just happen with all the sudden with no alarm. I don't know about your nausea man...it is too much. May be you are having a boy. Most of friends with big time nausea had a boy, but we dunno. It is going to be very exciting when you will see your little one during u/s. Good luck. I was so scared during my u/s...I was lookin at the tech's face for her facial exression...guessing if all is well...I would not even breathe...just kept looking at the u/s screen. later when I took a sigh...she was taking a pic for us, and it looks kind of blurry, but still very clear. She did not say anything at all. I was just dying with full bladder....that part is hard, when bladder is full and they press on the uteres for the scan. As I ran to the restroom, she told my DH if it is a boy/girl. He did not even show any expression on his face. After I came back from the restroom, I went in the room and tech said you are done. there was no explanation. I left soft of with less satisfaction. Tech did not say if all is well... she had jsut shown us the spine...count 123..next pic, so fast she was doing it. I should have told hr to slow down. i was under the impression that she will explain everythihg later to us. In the beginning she said, first she will take pics to send to our doc and then she will explain, but there was really no explanation...apart from this is the heart, legs...that is it. now I am waiting for my 28th week u/s. Later doc told us that all the normal. I asked him, if the spinal cord...all the parts areokay...he told me tthat they just write normal, when things are okay, if something is not right, then they write it down. I forgot to ask my doc where is my placenta....left/right/top/bottom. I will write rest later. Take good care of yourself and Helene hope to hear from ya soon. You know Iam here for a week and there is no sun at all???? Oh well, sorry for my typos. love to all.

Hi Ladies! First of - NurseJ - Thta was smart that you requested te higher dosage - that is the one I was on. Let us know how things go. Kim - whata horrible trip! YOu must be so happy just to be home. But I must say that I am jealous of your 1st-cla__s accommodatios - i ahev always wanted to fly first cla__s. Ahh, maybe some day! Avi - glad your u/s turned out well - too bad she didn't take the tiem tp explain thnigs better. Some techs are just lousy and others are so great. I know you porbbly siad th is earlier, but do you not want to know what th ebay is - is that why they told dh but not you?

SOrry Avi! I post in a few different plces, so some times I forget who I told what. Went to doc yesterday and heard the heartbeat which was nice. M/S has been awful, but yesterday was a good day which was the firt day in a wek I hadnt had nausea (well, after dry heaving in the shower that moening, I didn't). I am 14 weeks today and the m/s is back today but milder and no vomiting (but came close).Everything else is good with me.

Hi Avi... I hope you are enjoying your trip. I am home now in VA. and trying to rest. I felt like I was hit by a bus. Who knew that traveling and falling would take that much out of me. I probably could have dealt with it if I was not pregnant but it took a whole lot out of me. I can barely walk... I have such bad pain in what feels like my groin muscle but its like inbetween my hip and thigh. Doctor says its my ligaments stretching and that it starts at about 20 wks. and falling probably just agravated it. I have my appt. this tues. and am very excited but I think I have my hopes up to high. I am so anxious to find out if it is a boy or a girl but have some worries that he or she will not turn over. So far he or she has been on its stomach for every scan. I called the place where I am getting the scan and asked if they are going to explain everything to me. She said that the tech should but if I see they are not talking then i should definately start asking questions. I am going to go lay down because sitting up like this really hurts. Hopefully it will ease up soon. Hope that your trip is going well. xoxo hope to hear from you. Oh... have you felt the baby move at all? what about your stomach... has it poped yet?

Hi Helene... How are you? How is the nausea? Is it getting any better? As for mine, it is still going strong but eases up a little during the day. My hurtburn is still pretty bad and my swelling seems to come and go. I dont eat saltly foods so its gotta be something else i am doing or eating. I also stay away from sodium. I am sure that your nausea will fade fully away soon. Doc says that most womens go away by week 14 or 15. Please let me know how you are doing and if you have any new symptoms. hope all is well with you... looking forward to hearing back. xoxo

thanks helene, i am on the prochieve 8% now and now more bleeding. i went to my dr.'s appt friday 5-26-06 and i saw my first u/s i saw my baby's heartbeat. the doc says everything is fine and i go back in 4 weeks. my progesterone levels are fine even though i was on the low dose but now i am on the 8% dose. wish everyone well and good luck with your pregnancies.

Hi I am 6 weeks and I was low on my progesterone level also my doctor said it is very common for some pregnant women to have a low level. Doctors will also put you on this if you had a M/C before it helps keep everything nice and healthy and also makes you cervix etc. stronger for a healthyer baby. Good Luck!

Hopefully, you will be able to find out the gender...Good Luck!!! Let me know how you are feeling now. How is your pain? Take some rest also. ..I am sooo tired after the Memorial weekend. HELENE, so nice to hear about your little one. Kim, I also had a terrible pain in the bottom part of my pelvic region...I was out of country, so doc advised to go emergency. I had taken the fetal monitor with me...I checked the heartbeat, it was nice and strong...then contacted another doc... said could be the round ligament pain and constipation also. I could not go the restrom for two days, then I bought prunes, which helped me a lot. NURSEJ, so nice to hear about you baby's heartbeat also, but did the doc say why there is bleeding? Wish the best for all of you and TEEN MOMMY.

Oh Kim, I get some nice fluttering sensations now. What about you? HELENE, ppl can start feeling sometimes as soon as from the 14th week, it depends upon our body also. I am so excited for you. TEEN MOMMY, congrats also and all the best.

Hey Avi... Great to hear from you. I went for my ultrasound today and boy was that an experience. The docs were able to see legs bone, arm bones, shoulder bone, eyes, nose, lips, ambilical cord, bladder and that was about it. The baby kept moving and would once again not let us see anything else. It is stubborn like its mommy and daddy. The radiologist wants me to come back on Friday due to the fact that they could not get a pic of the heart or a good pic of the spine. Of course I started worrying and paniced right way. I called my doc. and he says that it is fairly routine and he just wants to make sure that it has the 4 ventricales being that he could not see anything today. As for movements, I can feel flutters in the top part of my lower stomach. Its kind of like little pitter patters. No definates kicks as i can feel yet. I know about the leg pain as well. It is round ligament pain and the doc told me that it starts around 20 wks. But now it is feeling a lot better. How are you feeling? how is canada? U are going home tomorrow right? Definately tell me how things are going and hwo ya are feeling? Helene... any updates? How are you feeling? Nausea still there? Well ladies, i am off to bed. hope all is well. xoxo

Hi ladies... Today we had our 2 scan of the week and our baby was just as stubborn when it came to the heart and spin. However, we were able to find out the gender. We found out today that we are having a baby GIRL!!!! I have to go back again to have the heart and spin checked most likely, I just have to wait for my doc. to tell me what kind of scan he wants. I hope that you all are doing well and that Avi, you had a safe trip home. Helene, I hope that you are coming along nicely and feeling ok. Let me know ladies. xoxo
