Avi - that rash sounds lousy, and I agree about itchng being worse in summer. I had a nice time down at my parents'house although I did feel sick here and there. Yesterday the m/s back in full force - I threw up- and today it was pretty bad when i woke up, although I think I may have eaten soon enough to keep from puking today. I think it is just my bad luck to be having this pretty much on and off throughout. AT leats I am no constipated these days, although it is harder to pa__s thngs. M2- How are you feeling? I have been wonderin how you are doing. Kim - Have you been back to the doc yet? How are you feeling? I hope all is well and that the bed rest helps you to carry your litle girl for as long as possible.

Hi Kim, wondering how you and the little princess are doing. Just keep praying hard. Take all the rest and hope that the doc understands fully how you feel. cuz my doc is so busy. he keeps on getting hosp calls inbtwn that he hardly can answer our quest, even if he wants too. Hugs and wishing the best for all of you. HELENE, my rash is there, but no pain...a lot of itching esp. in the arms and legs. On Wed w/o thinking I ate spinach and was wondering why my tummy is hurting...It has iron...so constipation got worse ...first thing in the morning I am taking metamucil and prunes. Let us see if that works. glad you had good time with your parents. How often do you throw up? How much wt. have you gained so far? Have you started to feel the kicks yet? My baby's movements are kind of less since two days...I am concerned kind of , makes me scared sometimes. How can my baby sleep lots? my doc has not told to count or not, and I am not sure how too....internet...it says 10 times...in a day or two hours? oh well. take care. M2, how are you doing?

Hey Ladies...Things on my end are going excately the same. Still on semi bed rest waiting for my next doc. appt. which is on Wed. then a sonogram on thurs. at that point i will be 28 wks. so there is no telling what will happen. She is a very active baby however, somedays she is not so active. Avi, I would not worry about not feeling your little one as much somedays are just more then others. My doc. is not so worried about how much movements as to how prominent and where they are. I do know that when charting they say to chart it for 2 hours. How many kicks you feel in 2 hours. Some docs will have you do it for 4 hours and others for 6 hours. But it all depends on your doc. My blood pressure is still elevated and I have not gained any more weight. Its all from the throwing up... docs think its because I am not eating but its whatever i eat comes back up. People are driving me nuts by saying just keep eating, after you throw up eat again, even though you threw up some still stays in... its really beginning to become a pain in my a__s. I mean people can voice their opinions but honestly its getting under my last nerve. 7 months of throwing up is bad enought... and then i have to listen to everyones opinion of what i need to do. Helene... i think it was you who asked why i didnt want to take the meds. Let me explain why. After i lost my first child I told myself that I would do everything in my power to keep my child healthy the next time i got pregnant. Which is why I didnt take the nausea meds either. I was taking meds that the doc told me was ok and I still m/c. So i kept asking myself if i could have done something different. Now that the doc is saying its not completely necessary at this point i would perfer to stick to my self promise and do what i can to stay as far away from the meds as possible. When the doc says I have no choice then I will cooperate. But for now... if something god forbid did happen, i would not be able to forgive myself this time around or bare the pain again of double guessing myself. Avi... I am sorry about the constipation. I know it can be so frustrating. I get bouts of it but not for long periods of time. I just try to eat fiber but it comes back up. I just figure there is nothing in me to back me up. LOL. Just do what you are doing... sounds like you have it under control. I have heard of PUPP it is annoying and uncomfortable but not uncommon. have you tried aveeno??? its a oatmeal bath. That helps with itching but also if you dont want to take the bath you can use the aveeno cream. I know that it is not suppose to spread to the face so thats a good thing. Just a few more weeks and we can start wondering where the time went and how quickly this all went. Cant beleive we are in our third trimester already. Has your stomach popped yet???? mine is still kind of small. Do you have the BIG pregnant belly yet? How about you Helene? M2- how is it going? Been keeping yourself busy? Hope you are all doing well. Looking forward to hearing back. XOXO

Hi! Kim - I am so glad you are doing well.I was checking the site for a few days beacuse I was worried. I am crossing my fingers and saying some prayers that at your visit they say, looks liek we can hold out a few more weeks! As for the m/s meds - I had a feeling there was some issue, because of the number of times you came so close to takign it but couldn't bring yourself to do it, and I know you have been extreemly ill. I know how you feel in some ways - I think we all have that feeling after a m/c no matter how often they tell us we did nothing wrong. The funny thing is that I was so anti the meds, too, but I actually broke down and took them three or four times for the opposite reason - I didn't take them the last time and lost the baby and so I figured, I would trust the odds. Plus, I have three good friends who did, so it made me feel better about it. I totally understand and respect your point of view and think you are doing the right thing. Even though I felt okay about my decision, there was always this little teeny fear in the back of mind, which is another reason why the amnio made me feel so relieved. Monday we have the follow-up ultrasound, and if all goes well with that, then I will be "home free" as my doctor put it - well, you all know what I mean - there are other things I worry about, but at least it is good to know that the baby is healthy. Let us know how your doc appt goes. WIshing you the best!

Hi everyone I am new to this site so glad I found it I am newly pregnant 6w 4d it is my first pregnancy and a very wanted baby my progesterone is low 8.3 and the gestational sac is small but there is a fetal pole with heartbeat I just started taking prometrium 100 mg. 2x a day ....I feel so worried !!

knpandrews - July 23

Nikkiliz... Try not to stress about it. Which we all understand is easier said then done. But worring does not help things at all. 8.3 is not a terrible progesterone level mine was 8.88 whcih i found out I was pregnant. They have cought it pretty early which definately works to your benifit. All of us on this forum have had issues with low pregesterone. Try reading down the forum and see how we got through all of our issues with it. I am glad that the fetal pole and heartbeat is there... once a heartbeat is detected that is a good sign. Try and remain calm and just take your prometrium as prescribed. Hang is there darlin. Hope everyone else is feeling well.

Hi! Nikkiliz - Listen to Kim - positive thoughts are important. It is scary, yes indeed. My progsterone was not much higher - 10.5. I had an amnio where everything was okay just last month and am 22 1/2 weeks now. Avi and Kim are at about 28 weeks, and a friend on the other post had her baby two months ago having taekn progesterone her first 12 weeks. Good luck! Kim & AVi - Had my in-depth ultrasound todya and once again, the little guy was uncooperative. Laid on his tummy so the tech couldn't get pics of his heart (although it was defintiely there and beating!) and she couldn't get a profile pic. So we got pics of his hand and his you know what (from below!) and his spine. She said doc may send me back to get the in-depth look at his heart - she got everything else. What a little stinker he is!

Hi Everyone! I am also new to this posting. I just found out that I am pregnant on Friday (4 weeks). I m/c last year and we were trying for 7 months before the good news. My doc is concerned about low progesterone so she put me on prometrium 400mg/day. I took an initial blood test on Friday, but won't get the results until tomorrow. I am having a little spotting, but only when wiping. I have read a lot of your stuff, but I didn't catch if anyone else had spotting. Do you think it's the implantation bleeding? I am nervous since my last pregnancy I spotted all of the time and everyone told me not to worry. I wish you all the best and any insight would be great!

zay28 - July 25

Hi, all. I ma new and i found this forum because after pa__sing hours and hours looking for low progestorene levels. My last period started on june 13. Today I am exactly 6 weeks. My progesterone levels were around 10 last monday. IO went for another blod work yesterday and it showed that my levels drop to 6. I started on progesterone supository yesterday ( twice at day). My hCG were around 21640, which is good. Today i started to see a pink trace with transparent mocus in my toilet paper. I am scared, this is my second pregnancy. DO you think that using the supositories will help to raise my progesterone? I will have an ultrasound next monday. I am scared to death!!! Thanks to read my lines.

zay28 - July 25

I am confused how can i keep answering to another posting diferent than this??

zay28 - July 25

Hi weesa5, i think io found the way to answer. I read your postying and i have the same thing. Lite pink bleadding. The implantation bleeding i believe is a dark bron spot . I had that four days before i miss my period. It is like old blod dark brown. It is very strange that most of the ladies with low progesterone had bleaddings. I called to dr. Off. and they told me if i see more of that they need to see me. I am sorry fopr my english. English is not my first language. Please tell me how is everithing with you. In this moments i feel more attracted to talk to somebody that are no close to me. It gives memore confidence.

Helene - July 25

Hi! Zay28 & Weesa59 - I didn't have any bleeding, but look back at the beginning to see if either Avi or Kim did. My progesterone was at 10.5 when they put me on supplments at 5 weeks 3 days. Everyone is different. If the bleeding continues or picks up or even if you just have a bad or uncomfortable feeling, call your doc It is always bets to be safe than sorry. Better to feel like a fool in the doc's office and nothing is wrong than to wish you had called them when it turns out something is wrong. Goodl luck! I wish you both the best!

zay28 - July 26

Hi again: I have another question: After start using prometrium v____aly, the level of progesterone went up or keep the same?

Nikkiliz - July 26

You guys are great here ...much needed support so far everything is good. I really get nervous about the lack of symptoms. i guess i should feel lucky. my husband doesn't give much support he doesn't get whats going on.

sanjavi77 - July 26

Hi! Nikkiliz, Zay28 & Weesa59, last year when I M/C I started with pink color bleeding sort of and w/in a week I was soaking pads...means m/ced. this time, cuz I m/c last year and my progesterone was low, so the doc called me every week in the beginning upto 7 weeks I suppose....so with every internal exam I had minor, it would scare me a lot, but I think 9 weeks on ward...no bleeding at all. I dicussed with my doc...he said b/c the pap smear was done at that point, so with that we can bleed, it should stop and it did. also progesterone sometimes makes some women discharge brown stuff....so I kept thinking inbtwn that it was bleeding. at 10 weeks I left progesterone and everything was back to normal. My pro in the beginning was 11ish. If you read mine and Kim's post....you will know all. don't lift anything heavy in the beginning. once we see the fetal pole and heartbeat....99% we can make it. Just pray to God so that your first trimester goes smooth and you all can enjoy your pregnancy. good luck! I know how it feels, with every breath that we take, we keep on thinking....if you feel really uneasy...do not hesitate to talk to your doc/DH/best friend or mother. Just don't get stressed out a lot.
