Hi Everybody, Howz it going for all of you? am so glad we have this going on to share our feelings. It really helps you know. first for Kim, whenever I pray for myself I pray for you and the little one my dear. Everyday I pray that your baby be born in the 10th month beginning b/c pregnancy actually goes a bit beyond 9 months or so. Or it depends how we count. I was watching TV and yes 130/100 was mentioned serious, but even with the meds it shot upto 400? I am really happy for your baby that she weighs about 2lbs and 10ounces. I also went and my dear one weighed 2lbs and 6 ounces at 28 weeks, which the tech said is perfect. The baby had his/her hand on the forehead. I got the pic profile. As for my itching...it is no where except from my b___t, thighs, legs and arms. Breast I can handle somewhat. Oatemeal did not work, but I bought Eucerin and I did apply the st eroid cream which doc prescribed. I really felt like jumping out of the window, so I applied. bit relieved. I had docs appt also, all is well, just low on hemoglobin and it is common in the last trimester. HELENE, how are you doing? Good to know about the kicks. How are you sleeping and all? What about your ms? KIm, what about your nausea? How about sleeping at night? Mine is like 5-6 hours. Sometimes while sleeping I feel short of breath, so I have piled up lots of pillows. What about lamaze cla__ses? so you can't attend anymore? I and my DH went for our first cla__s this past Sunday. It is ok ok, just want to be prepared for the delivery, but the instructer seems to be so lazy. Anyhow. take care. Zay28 & Weesa59, how are you doing now? Zay28 good to know about the heartbeat. did you ask how many beats per min it was. Initially my baby's heartbeat was 160 now it is 133 b/c of the size. 120 to 170 is the normal range. Weesa59, just hang in there. I also had the pms like cramps thru out the first trimester and in second trimesters especially in the 18th week, I was visiting Canada and I had terrible pain which was rounding ligaments pain. Every persons body is different and sometimes it has its own way of preparing for pregnancy. God bless ad take care.

Hi, Kim! You sound good, despite the itchig! Unfortunatley still havethe m/s but at leats I haven't thrown up in a long time,although I have come close. We had temps over 100 and last night the power went out from 8:30 to about 2:30 am! I tought I would die before the air came back on. WOrst night of sleep, and of course heta makes you feel more nauseous, so when the air went back on I stilt took long time to fall back to sleep because I was now wide awake and nauseous. Just getting up to go to the bathroom is usually okay because it is quick and I am not fully conscious,but when I awake completely likte I did last night, then nausea starts in. Oterwise, I am good. Get out of breath sometimes, mainly after eating or in the heat.How are you with the heat over in Calif?

Hi Helene and Kim, How are you both doing? Kim I was wondering how are you managing food. I am not sure at all, but do you have to eat very less amount of sall in your food? I hope it comes to normal, but it must be hard. don't let headaches come near to you at all. I have headaches every morning, but my BP is good. Helene, how are you doing? What week is this for ya? Kim and I are in week 30. Exactly 10 more weeks to go. I am doing fien, my itching is kinda going away. It is a big relief. Nothing much is going on this week. My DH is so busy at work. Take Care both of you.

knpandrews, sanjavi77 youguys are in the 30 week?? wow!!! it is great. I can wait to see my baby and i am just 8 weeks. My blod pressure so far is very low. My body temperature changed a lot. I am always cold. No bad thing for summer time. I just gained two paunds so far. weesa59 you are just one week behind me. My 8 week started on tuesday 8/8. My doctor alreadyhave date for my Csection. It will be 4 of march. 2 weeks before my due date. My sister is pregnant too and she is just one week behind me. My mom is really exited. The bad thing she is living in venezuela and I here so she have to decide where she eant stay. Since this is my second and sugested my mom to stay with my ssiter and come after two month and stay with us. Sorry , i don't want you to get bored with my things. Hope your blod pressure comes to normal and i will keep praying for all of you. saludos!!

Hi Kim! I am so glad to hear that things are going well and holding steady. I tried to look up your baby site again, but my compuyre is doing weird thins and won't let me plug in the web site. I think we have soem "hijackers" that redirect us and am pressently trying to find a good program to rid us of them. I guess my virus scan is no longer up to date. Zay28 - that is so neat that both you and your sis are pregnant together - too bad so far apart! What you told your mom makes sense. I can't believe you are cold al the time - I did the opporsite - turned into the human furnace! It was really bad while school was in session because we don't have a/c and my cla__sroom was an oven. Although I did get to escpae for two periods when the computer lab was free and I would bring my kids in there. I am so happy that the weather has finally cooled down (had a horribel heat wave) - I have actually venbtured outdoors for more than ten minutes at a time now that I can breathe outside again! I had another u/s on Thursday as a follow up to the Level 2 U/S because the baby was sleeping on his stomach and wouldn't show the tech everything. Well, guess what - he did it again! Little stinker! This time she was ablet o get pics of his arms, feet, eyes, lips and nose but still can't get pics of his heart, although she said it was beating well at 145 bpm so she wasn't worried about it. So anyway, I have ot go back AGAIN so she can get pics of his heart for the doc. My last two appointments were at 3 pm and the next one wilbe at 9:30 am so maybe he will be more active and cooperative. I should have been there last night - he was up for hours bouncing around - from dinner time until I went to bed. I guess he enjoyed the pizza we had! Kim - If I ever get off my lazy b___t and od the online pregnannyc journal, you wil be able to see that I have definitley "popped! Although i just think I look fatter thn usual! LOL! But I think it is becoming more apparent that I am pregnant. I was 25 weeks on Friday. ACtually, I am not being so much lazy as consumed with cleaning out the rom that will become the baby's room. Itis tiny room but my goodness ddid we have a lot of sh#@ in there! So it has been a lot of sorting, throwing out, packing up and deciding where to store some things or relocate others (like the computer!). We have a first name for the baby, but are still workign on a middle name. He will be Tehodore after my husband, but we are calling him Teddy (dh is Ted). I like Teddy but really don't like Theodore so I keep joking that I will write on all his school records - CALL MY SON TEDDY! LOL! So needless to say, he is my little Teddy bear already!

Hey Ladies... How is everyone doing?

HI Ladies... Well i just got back from my doc. appt. and was not pleased with what I was told. Apparently... my HBP is now normal but I have +3 protien in my urine. Doc says this is the start of what looks like to be pre-eclampsia. So now he is doing a 24 hour protien test and then on monday when he gets the results he will decide wheather to put me in the hospital or not. He said that he is going to deliver her early via c-section but now its a matter of deciding what week to deliver. He is looking at 34-37 wks. But he said if i do go into preterm labor that might be the best thing. He says that baby girl might flurish better if she was outside the womb and that is what the appt. on the 29th will show with the next sonogram. So now I just sit and wait. Which is going to do wonders for my blood pressure. How is everyone else???

HI Kim, Helene and Zay28, Read your posts and glad to know about all of you. Helene, how is your Teddy doing? Zay we won't get bored ever, you should share whatever you feel like and it is so cool that you and your sis are pregnant at the same time. You both can share a lot. congrats once again. How is your BP Kim? What about some other things? How are you feeling overall? How is it going for you? My BP is low which is a good thing, but heartbeat comes around 113 for me, so feel a bit uneasy. Zay don't worry about low BP, just take care of dizziness. First thing when you get up in the morning from the bed...first sit and strech, then slowly get up. everyday it is hard, but whenever you can and if you bend don't get up so quickly. I haven't been doing so well from the last week. I have horrible stiffness which starts shooting up around 2am and as I get up, it becomes better, so I go back to bed around 5/6 and get up at 8. I can't sleep in the day light. So sometimes put a band on my eyes. during day time I feel much much better, but just when I lie down, I can't pull the comfortor or even make a fist and lift my arm. I hope it goes away soon after the delivery. Helene, it must be hard in the heat for you. Just keep yourself hydrated. You know last year my doc used to me all the time that I am dehydrated and this time he keeps on telling me that I am overly hydrated. I was so happy, but he says limit your fluid intake. What can I do, I get soooo thirsty. my doc's like you are in semidesert, even if you drink the whole ocean your thrist can not be satisfied...I am like...I laughted it out. Nothing much is going on...Finally we have started the shopping. Crib, stroller and clothes are left to buy. I was thinking soon Kim and I will share our delivery story. I can't wait to meet my little one. This week on Aug 16th, my DH told me if we have a baby girl or a boy. 8th month was what had thought that I would know, so here it is....DH gave me three words, Scandal, Adler, and Bohemia. I looked up on the internet together these three words give a clue, if it is a boy or a girl. So if you have like few minutes, then lets see if you can find out, otherwise next post or Monday I will tell you that we are going to have a baby_________________.

Hi again, you can ask for the hints also inbtwn. Also Kim I forget to mention...I do have a pregnant belly. However, it is not that huge. If I wear tight clothing, then only it shows nicely. Otherwise, a lot ppl have told me that is a bit smaller. What about the kicks....I am enjoying like anything. At night too now I feel. Sometimes the baby goes from right to left and I can see baby moving that way. You all have a nice day!

Hey Avi... Hmmmm lets see. By the 3 words you gave i would say that you are having a boy. Scandal, Adler, and Bohemia... All relate to Sherlock Holmes. But then again, I could be way off. Maybe another hint and I can be certain??? :) This is fun...

Kim - I am sorry that you may have pre-eclmapsia. I hope not, but it doc thinks that you should do an early c-section then that is the best bet for you and baby girl. BY the way, I finally got to look up your site and saw your liytle girl's face - she is beautiful already! I am in te processof making a site for myself, but have only put s few pics on so far. When itis done, I will give you guys the link.Avi - The heat has been much better, but I am actually get worse m/s again - I threw up my lunch on both Monday and Tuesday adn Wednesday I was so ill I broke down and took a zofran. Todya was lousy, too but I didn't puke, although i don't think I ate as much as I should have. And when I don't have nausea or puking I have heartburn that burns like hell. I stay inside a lot so I have stayed pretty hydrated. I have been having a hard time with sleeping - back t be ing tired around 9 ish again, but often just end up napping on the couch. I wake up around 3 ish to go to the bathrooma nd then again around 5 and can't get back to sleep sometimes. Plus, when I sleep on my side, the hand of the arm I am sleeping on gets numb and I have to switch sides. Okay - I am guesing girl beause I looked up your three clues and they mention a Sherlock Homes story called "A Scandal in Bohemia" about an opera singer named Irene Adler. Let us know what the answer is! BTW I love the way he told you! is he a Sherlock Holmes/mystery fan or are you? My dh's cousin and his wife decorated their guest bathroom with a mystery theme - it has pics by Edward Gory and photos of ANgela Lansbury, Herule Poirot, Columbo, SHerlock Holmes and the CLue gameboar. ANd there is a bookshelf with Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Sherlock Holmes and other mystery books. ANd each shelf has a different "weapon" - the rope, the wrench, the candletsick, etc. from Clue. I get a big kick out of it.

LOL... I was leaning toweards a girl at first. But then I went with the Writer instead of the character. Now I am in complete wonder. Cant wait for another clue or for you to tell us. Honestly though...I am super impressed that you were able to wait til now to find out. You have will power girl. Helene... sounds like you go the morning sickness thing going on now but try and not to let it rule you. Trust me on that. Sleeping you should get a body pillow. It will take some tension off your arms and legs. Hope you and Teddy are doing well though and things are coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing your website. Hi Kim and Helene, Thanks for playing that little game, but Helene is absolutely right...yes, it is from Sherlock Holmes and Kim you were on the right track as well. But the chracter is Adler Irene, "The Woman" from A Scandal in Bohemia, so we are going to have a baby GIRL. I am so happy. Kim, you did not write about your health? I also saw your little angel's pic, her face show so clear, cho cute!! It is like HI World! Although, you take no salt at all, but taking none is hard, but I must say you are the one who has great will power, since the beginning of your pregnancy. So b/c of all this are you able to attend your lamaze cla__ses? Helene, how is little Teddy? How much did he weigh during u/s? now that your tummy is growing big....heartburn is one thing. Did you try Tums? Mine wears off with Tums, but at night ....cold mild soothes me. also, try to pile up couple pillows and Kim is right about the preg pillow. for constipation I am thinking of taking Colace over the counter told by my doc, but I am still scared. Some days in pregnancy are great, but some are so lousy, especially if the night sleep is disturbed. Helene, your night cycle is like mine. Finally, when I am having good sleep, it is time to go to the bathroom. From about three days I try to take a nap for atleast one hour or so. I get leg cramps also, but warm bath gives some relief. For numbness wear wristgard/splint on your wrists. It restricts the blood flow and reduces the amount of pain and numbness. During day time take it easy for repit_tive work.
