I wouldn't do it. The fumes in a nail salon are very toxic. It's important to stay away from as many toxins as you can while pregnant. Having long naild won't be as important to you when you have a baby in your arms. You'll feel awful the first time you scratch your beautiful baby.

I agree with Shelly. Getting fake nails probably won't harm your baby, but what if it does? Even in a small way? It's not a chance I would take. Pregnancy is a time when you should be avoiding all sorts of chemicals. I have decided to stop dying my hair and stop using nailpolish during this time. It might not be necessary, but like I said I don't want to take any chances.
