I'm usually a back sleeper. I'm 10 weeks and lately I've been trying to get used to sleeping on my side. Throughout the night, I wake up and switch sides at which time I notice my stomach is crampy/achy on the side I'm sleeping on. Is this harming the baby? Am I positioning myself incorrectly or just simply sleeping on one side too long?

I am a stomach sleeper and I am also 10 weeks. I haven't been able to sleep on my stomach since around 4 weeks and I am very uncomfortable on my back. I too switch from side to side all night long. I bought a body pillow and I put in between my knees and hug the other end, I found that to bit somewhat helpful.

Thanks for the input! I might just have to invest in a body pillow. I'll try anything for a comfortable sleep.

I am 16 weeks and I have had the cramping when I go to switch sides or to get up or to sit down pretty much anytime I move I get a pain, But it is normal and it has everything to do with the bundle of joy growing inside of you. But yes I to have a really big wonderful pillow and it does help, somtimes sleeping on the couch helps to.
