Hello all! I wanted to start this discussion so that I could get a few opinions on my situation rather than reading all of the internet involving different people and what they're going through, seeing as everyone is different!
I will start out by saying that I have been on birth control up until the last couple months (YAZ). I had a regular period beginning August 12-16 (give or take a day). About 2 weeks ago, September 2nd, I began spotting. I did not need to use a pad or tampon, as it was very light, brown and only visible when I wiped. It only lasted about 2-3 days on and off and then stopped completely. I usually have my period on the same week of each month, so I was expecting my period a few days ago but since it can change, I have waited until this weekend to be sure. It is the 16th now and I have still yet to start my period. For about 2 weeks, I have had bad headaches (I don't ever usually get headaches), and for about a week, I have experience nausea. It started out very minimal but it's beginning to effect my sleeping and day-to-day activities. Last night, for instance, I woke up about 7 times throughout the night being very thirsty and nauseous. I drank almost 2 16-oz bottles of sprite zero and I could hardly sleep because every way I laid, I felt like I was going to be sick and vomit. It has lasted almost all day in a pit of my stomach feeling and it feels much better whenever I drink sprite zero/eat something. I am also peeing quite frequently (I can go about once/hr or two).
I took a pregnancy test strip this morning (Early-pregnancytest.com), and I waited about 3-5 minutes and I did not see a positive line. (Since then, I have gone to the website and many people have claimed that the test is very popular in having "VERY FAINT POSITIVE LINES" and they could hardly see them, until they waited a couple of days to test again. The only time I say a line, was when I walked back into the bathroom (I left the test strip on my counter), and I noticed in different lighting, that there was a faint positive line. But, I'm not sure if that was an actual positive or if it was an evaporation line (I couldn't tell if there was a color difference).
Overall, I feel that I am having symptoms of pregnancy; Fatigue (I can sleep ALL day if I wanted to), Nausea (Getting more intense as the days pass), Constipation (TMI, apologies), And as of this weekend, late period.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this and I very much appreciate any replies that I get on your own similar situation or expert opinion/advice! Thanks again!

It sounds promising. Test again after a few days and see if the line gets stronger and faster. That hormone keeps on doubling. GL!
