Late Ovulation Feel Pregnant But Started A Period

Hi, my fiance and I had unprotected s_x (withdraw) on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of June. I have a very regular period, 28 day cycle. My last period was on the 6th of June and should have started on the 4th of this month. For about a week I have been feeling funny fluttering sensations in my lower abdomen and around my belly button as well as occasional sharp pains and mild cramping. My br___ts are swollen and I have noticed some dark blue veins creeping up my chest. I have been getting slight, sporadic headaches which last a fraction of a second and then disappear throughout the day. I have also had an almost constant stomach ache, complete loss of appet_te, and zero energy. We are not ttc, although I would be thrilled if I were pregnant. The symptoms cannot possibly be my mind playing tricks on me as they have happened completely on their own without the thought of pregnancy even once entering into my head until the 4th when my period skipped. I woke up yesterday morning with a very tiny spot of brown blood on my panties, which I took as implantation bleeding. I immediately went out and bought a test, which turned out negative. Today I woke up with no bleeding at all, then around 10am a little bit of brown spotting which turned into a very light pink and then finally into a regular period with cramps, clotting, and all. The problem is, I still feel pregnant. As soon as the cramps subsided the same tickling feeling in the tummy, slightly nauseous sensations are there. I cannot stop hiccuping, sometimes so loud that even my family members have started to notice. My mother had a period, or the equivalent, with both myself and my sister for the first few months of pregnancy. Is it possible this could be occurring for me as well? I know there is nothing I can do but wait and re-take the test but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else? I just can't shake the feeling that I am pregnant. Before any of this happened I was lying on the bed and my sister tried to (playfully) smack me on the stomach and without even thinking I clutched my midsection and practically screamed "don't hit me there!" like I was afraid without knowing why. I know it sounds crazy but I just can't shake it!

Also, the bleeding seems to be accelerated. I went from mild to heavy bleeding and clotting in a few hours where usually it is dragged out in days. I have also had extremely sore b___sts, which rarely happens to me, which eased up this morning and is now more of a heaviness, and only slightly uncomfortable to the touch.

Ash, this is going to be a waiting game. In theory your s_x was a couple of days too late to catch ovulation, but a couple of days is inside the margin of error. Maybe you had a swing and a miss. Maybe you are like your mom. Take a couple more pregnancy tests at one week intervals. If you are still testing negative Jul 17th, the chances increase that there is some other reason for your early signs. GL!
