I have been on the pill for year now. But I was never consistent with it i would always forget to take them and never worried about them cause my boyfriend and i never really had s_x. I would not take pills for a week straight, then it got to the point were i only took 3-4 pills in a pack. Lately i havent really been taking them, went this month with only taking 5.
Could I get pregnant not that it is the end of the month, or is there a chance that i still have the effectiveness of the pill in my system?
I had s_x on April 18th, 19th, and 25th unprotected. Found out ovulation date was April 23rd. So chances of getting pregnant are fairly high?
My period this month was April 9th-11th, was very light and lasted 3 days (obviously) Could i already be pregnant? Or just having a light period.
I'm suppose to be going to the gyno next month but i don't want to go and find out that i'm pregnant while my mom is there with me! What should I do about that? Especially since she thinks i've been on the pill for a year. I don't know how to tell her that i havent really been keeping up on them like i should have been. Yes i know its my responsibility to take them, but if you understood my daily schedule you might understand a little better.
Should I worry about anything or just keep cool for awhile?
I don't want to speak too soon. And take actions that dont need to be taken.
I'm on the track team which is going on until the middle of May, if I am pregnant would I be okay to do the running I do.
Events i'm in are 200 M dash (twice usually), 100 M hurdles, and high jump. (if you know anything about track).
Also I am a cheerleader, but that doesnt start till summer. Would I be safe to do Football season?
Finishing school is a main goal no matter what. I'll be a senior.
I have been very tired and easily exhausted. Get headaches and slight dizziness after running. Could those be signs of pregnancy?
I know i have alot to ask, and seem to just be going on and on but i'm curious about all this and need some advice or just some tips.
Before jumping to any conculsions or thinking i've been TTC, just help me out.
I just know alot about how my period works, like everyone should.
Thanks alot.

You seem to be a lovely and talented young lady! Your pill-taking routine stinks, however. You might as well not have been taking any. It is too soon in this cycle to be feeling any signs of pregnancy, so the signs you have may mean you are 6 weeks pregnant, and a home pregnancy test any day now will tell the story. Use first morning pee. Carry the test in to your mom and say "I think I may have a problem". She knows you have been s_xually active, and being off in the timing of just one pill can mess things up. You don't have to tell how bad things have been. You are in top physical shape, and you can probably compete without damage until 10 weeks, but your doc should have the final word. You won't be breaking any records, and it may be fair to the team to step aside. Cheerleading in the fall will be out unless coach wants an obviously pregnant mascot as an example. Fatigue, headache and dizziness are signs. How about weird cramps, peeing more, lotion discharge, appet_te and smell signs, acne, backache, emotions, hot flashes, dreams, upset gut and a few other things. Take a test! You need to be on prenatal vitamins already if it is positive. Put a big asterisk by New Year's Day 2011. GL!
