Pregnant After Missed Period

I recently had an ultrasound to determine the fetal age. I requested this ultrasound because I wasn't sure of my exact LMP. According to the ultrasound I am 11 weeks 4 days. Which is suprising because according to my doctor I was around 14 weeks. So my due date jumped from January 13th to Feb 6th. I am just wondering which one is correct. My last menstrual period was between April 8-15th. I didn't get a period in May, and according to the ultrasound, became pregnant around/after the time I should've got my period. Just wondering how any of this is possible.
