When Did I Conceive Pg1277168520

PregoPenguin - June 21

My boyfriend and I had been together for a year and a half, I had gone away for a few months due to the army and came home to find out he had been verbally cheating on me as well as sending/receiving pictures of himself and others...we broke up for roughly 3-4 months, but still were trying to work things out. At a particularly low point of this time I had s_x with his best friend. That was January 31st. I started my period on February 2nd which lasted precisely on February 9th. On February 10th (and up to this very day!) I've had s_x with my boyfriend. I am now 19/20 weeks pregnant and due on November 14th, 2010. According to my HCG levels I conceived between Feb 14th (a day/night I definitely remember spending with my boyfriend) and Feb 21st. In the last 2 years I've never slept with anyone other than my boyfriend, aside from January 31st. I desperately want this child to be his and his alone...short of risking early labor/miscarraige for an amniotic dna test-is there anyway to be certain that this is my boyfriends and not his best friends child?!?!?!?! Please help. I don't want to risk losing my baby, and I certainly don't want to lose my boyfriend (of whom has proven himself, and continues to prove himself worthy of trust even though he hasn't earned it...but I feel like a hypocrit...) Please, please please...someone help me figure this out :'(

HCG levels are so variable from one pregnancy to another that nobody uses them to date a pregnancy. A first trimester ultrasound is thought to be accurate to a few days. Since you had a period after the best friend episode, you can rule him out. In addition, s_x a few days before your expected period will not get you pregnant. A period starting Feb 2 would suggest ovulation Feb 16th (28 day cycle) thru Feb 23 (35 day cycle). Sperm from Feb 10th onward would have lasted long enough to impregnate you. I don't think you have any cause for concern. GL!
