S_x, and I was told by my doctor to take caster oil (not sure if I spelt it right) i know in canada you can find at any pharmacy and it is cheap. You take it with ORANGE JUICE stir it well and drink it very fast as it is an oil and is gross. It will not harm your baby. I took it the week before i was due with my first and had her the next night. and with my second I took it in the day and had him that night. make sure you only take the one dose a day. Too much will make you have to spend your evening on the toilet and not in the hospital have a baby. Good luck

I would not try drinking castor oil or anything like that... I have heard that this can give the baby diarrhea within the womb.. and then when the baby breathes in the amniotic fluid, the baby can get meconium (poop) in his/her lungs... this I have been told can possibly kill the baby or cause retardation.... I also as an RN took care of a child that is now blind, deaf, and retarded, and breathes through a trach due to meconium (poop) aspiration ... SO DO NOT DO THAT!!! Remember... whatever happens to you will also happen to the baby... If you get diarrhea from the oil.... the baby will too... dont take that chance... it is too much of a price to take!.... Dont do anything without consulting your doctor first!

Joni, this is what i was told by my doctor.....i had no idea that those symptoms could happen. I am not an RN so Emma dont do my idea unless you have talked to your doctor. Every Doctor has there own methods and practices so follow what your doctor said. Thanxs for the info joni, you learn something new everyday
