Im Very Curious About My Irregular Period

I had an irregular period for about 3 yrs. my last period came around Feb 5th 2009 and left about Feb 15th 2009. I havent seen my period until my doctor prescribed me to Ortho Tricylen Lo (birth control) on Feb. 1st 2010 and my period came February 13th 2010 and it has been THE WORST! Today makes 11 days and i have been haven the worst cramps and a Heavy flow that makes me feel like im peeing on myself and i would have to change my pad every 20-30 minutes because its soaked. My doctor said its normal because i skipped a whole year but i think its CRAZY! My thoughts in my mind is can i get pregnant because my fiance is worried and were planning on having a baby.

Agh you pore girl I know how bad that can be I was like that at age 11 to 15 before I went on the pill. Has the doctors given a reason for the missing periods?

He said because my hormone level is high and off balance which grew into Polycystic ovarian syndrome

I'm so sorry to hear, I have pcos too my first period that was brought on by medication was heavy really heavy but it didn't last longer than usual, I hope for you that your body responds to the meds like mine because after getting the first period mine returned to regular cycles.
