Late Period Or Miscarriage

my period is late for 3 weeks and did feel the prego symptoms and brown spot. Then, i had period this morning passing the blood clots. i don't smoke,no beer, no alchoho and no coffeel. If it is miscarriage, how should i prevent next time? Please,help me. I stopped taking prenatal vitamins as it made me constipated. Should I take that again?

Prenatal vitamins do not help you get pregnant. Pregnancy itself may sometimes cause constipation. Arrange a doctor visit if you can. Failing that, I guess if you can get prenatal vitamins you can also get a couple of pregnancy tests. Run them at one week intervals, both on first morning pee, and see if you have a positive that is getting stronger or fainter. If you are still pregnant, your preg signs will stay with you, especially nausea which is strong weeks 7 thru 12. Having one miscarriage does not significantly alter your chances of a successful pregnancy next time. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your reply. I have gone to the doctor. He checked inside my womb with U/S. He talked to the interpreter that my bladder and overy are normal,but he doesn't know or is not sure why I am bleeding so much. And he suggested me to go to the hospital to get the viginal check. The doctor at the hospital checked the viginal( I have never done viginal check before, so I don't know how they check it. As I can see, the doctor clean period using the cotton b___s,felt she put the last cotton ball a little bit deeper. Then, she said " finished checking"( when I thought she will start checking after cleaning). She said that she didn't see any damage or infection. Then, I was asked to take HPT and it showed negative. She told me to come back again if I am bleeding more than one week. Yesterday(the whole day and the whole night)I had heavy flow,mostly the color is red like normal period,sometimes it's brown. But, the flow is slow down start from this morning. I don't know the doctors here are reliable or not.( as I often hear the bad stories about the doctors here from the local people.)Thanks again!Grandpa.

I m/c Nov.23 had a d/c no period since .ttc Dec.6-7-8 do u think I could be pregnant? I'm 42 have a 11yr old never miscarried before.

It is not easy to get pregnant at 42. Are you considering the possibility of a peri-menopausal situation?

No, I have a benign putuitary tumor,which I was out on meds to bring on a period,cuz I stopped gettin one cuz of the tumor,I finally got a period in august got pregnant in Oct. M/c in Nov. D/c on Nov23,no period since.not on any meds,just wondering if its a chance I could be pregnant?
