Update: DPO 5: My temp was 97.91... yoyo-effect still. I feel queazy, a bit nauseous from the moment I woke up. I'm sleepy at this time (my eyes burn), and I am cranky over something stooooopid hubby did. He can be unbelievable at times. I have sensitive nipples (only sore if I pinch them). The b___sts are still the same though. My lower back doesn't bother me as much. I noticed no cm still... haven't checked my cervix yet. I can feel lazyness setting in for me today.

Hi Bebe, sounds like you have some good signs going for you:) I just came off of af last Friday. Hubby is leaving tomorrow and won't be back for a couple of weeks:( I head back to the States soon, so I am getting very excited about that!!! I to have been exercising to help relieve some of my anxiety and stress. Also I have been trying ti eat healthy:) I have been taking Folic Acid for almost a year and started taking prenatal vitamines in February. I take promise stages numer 1. They are prenatals that you take when you are trying to conceive up until 3 months. I am wondering if I should stop using them for the summer and then start back up a month before hubby comes home or continue to take them. Whats your advice?

Hi Simone, how are you doing today? I would stay on the vits but it is always best to talk to your Dr. Will you still be around when hubby comes home? If so you might conceive around that time? I'm sorry I know nothing about your cycle or your plans but if you are like me, I see opportunity everywhere....

update: DPO 6 : I purposely avoided taking my temps this morning especially since I woke up 1 full hour earlier than usual... so I knew my tempts woulde messed up anyways... didn't want to know by how much! the burning-achey sensation in my nipples is beginning to radiate towards the whole b___st (especially the right one) but it is not "painful" like I hear so many people describe. I am a bit down today. I am skeptical now and I was really hoping for a HUGE sign like throwing up or b___st overly painful or cramps out of this world. But nothing...well we'll see what happens.

Hello- I am doing okay today! The sun is out and the birds are chirping.Yes, I will be here for about a week when my hubby will be back, but then we will be apart for 6 months. I guess we have a chance in June. So far this is what my cycle has looked like. February 14th - Stopped Bc February 15th thru the 19th - withdrawl bleed March 26th - First real period off of Bc. Only lasted 3 days and was very lightt. May 10ththru the 14th - 2nd real period off of Bc and it lasted 4 days and was a little more heavier. So its between 40 and 45 days each cycle so far. I never really know when and if I am ovualting. Looks like I will just have to be patient and baby dance every chance I get:) I have heard some people say that if your cycle is over 35 then you do not ovulate and it is condidered irregular. I have also heard of people who have gotten preggo with a longer cycle and that is just normal for them. Anyways.......ever since getting off BC I have noticed that my nipples get extra sensitive for a few days. I am wondering if that means I am ovulating. Its kinda weird though because usually my whole b___b hurts right before af comes. This last time I had cramps for three weeks before I started and then in the second week I noticed my nips were sensitive and then the thirs week I was an emotional wreck:( If you ask me, three weeks is way to long to have PMS!!! Also i heard that you usually don't get morning sickness until you are in your 6th week. So I think you are stil good:) Keep me updated!!!!

Good morning Simone, It is NOT true that you do not ovulate if your cycle is over 35 days. Many women have 40-45 cycles and they have many children. The only way really to know if you ovulate is to chart BBT and see if you can pin point a pattern. I know that it takes a few cycles off of the BC before the body regulates itself. Also it is necessary to maintain a healthy body weight to set up and sustain a pregnancy. Too thin and the body will shut the reproductive system down (to save nutrients and energy). Too thick and counter-active hormones are release to confuse the whole body. When nips feel changes it usually indicates a hormonal shift: usually as estrogen before ovulation then progesterone after ovulation. Thank you for your encouragements.

Update: DPO 7: My temp is up today 98.18 and I feel sore nipples still. The whole b___st still doesn't hurt although it felt like the pain was irradiating yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night for a pee session. I can clearly feel my lower back especially when I lay down to rest. I am feeling emotional and spent (I cried myself to sleep over a tiny incident that otherwise would not phase me a bit).. yet again, I have a big event coming up tomorrow and another one next week. grrrrrr......

Hello- Thanks for the info!!! I am 5'8 and weigh 148. I am working to get down to about 140. So you are testing next weekend? I am so excited for you:)

bebe1 - May 19

Hi Simone, So what other projects are you planning to focus on while hubby is away? If you don't mind me asking....

bebe1 - May 19

Update: dpo 8 NOT what I am expecting. Nothing special to report. I missed temping again and I am under a lot of stress today. I have a very crucial appointment today and my whole focus is geared towards it. Maybe I can get a breather. Well laters.

simone7399 - May 19

Good Morning- How was your appointment? I hope you were able to relax a little and get some you time:) I attended a luncheon yesterday with other ladies who's husbands just deployed. It was nice to be around people who are going through the same thing. Everyone really pulls together around here and are very close. There is going to be a summer cookout this Friday that I am looking forward too and next week I enrolled in a couple cla__ses that get me familiar with the Navy life. So I have a couple things planned to keep me busy. When i get back to the States I am going to Nanny for a family of seven!!! All boys and one girl. The little girl has down syndrome and they just found out she has leukemia. So her Mom will be back in forth between home and Riley's children's hospital. Other then that I just plan on spending as much time with family as I can. My Hubby will be back for a short period of time in June, so i am still hopeful that I could get preggers the month of June. Gonna keep my fingers crossed for sure:) Do you have any cramping yet?

bebe1 - May 19

Hi Simone, it is awesome that you've got peer support. I felt hungry when you mentioned the cook out. I LOoooVe cook outs. It is so much fun to hang... Hubby and I hope schedule a trip to Jamaica by the end of this year. Every night I just day dream on how cool it would be if I were pregnant. He'll def. Treat me like royalty times 2. I am praying that operation catch the egg works beautifully for you. I can see that you have a big heart! The story about the family you'll help out caused a little sadness here: poor child... My appointmemt went better than I expected so praise God for that. Thank you for asking. Trust me I was spent beyond expectation yet when I got home I stumbled upon this new found energy and now my eyes burn of exhaustion. I did feel like my period was on its way less cramping. I don't know what is up with that? My nipples are less sensitive but sometimes I feel random pains inside both b___sts. I took my temp later today and it was 98.48 I can't wait for tomorrow to be here already. I WANT HUGE SYMPTOMS. So Simone, are you going to set up Hubby for a sensuality-filled ro-ROmantic time? Remember YOU GOT TO GET THAT EGG FERTILIZED...(ok ok ok sorry I turned on the pressure ...) but don't forget to have F.U.N. Alright, good nite already...

Good morning! Update: Today is DPO 9 and my temperature was 98.24...I am quite glad about it... ok just six more days of high temperatures please?! I couldn't sleep on my tummy last night because my nipples were just bothering me. Less painful but very sensitive. I forgot to report that my cm yesterday was creamy. I got lots on the toilet paper. My cervix feels warm and high. I have to bear down and push (as if I was having a bowel movement) to feel it. I don't feel powerful symptoms yet... something got to happen soon to boost my confidence.... But we'll se how today goes.

simone7399 - May 20

Good Morning!!!! I have a feeling that you are preggers!!! I heard that your cm is suppose to be creamy like lotion. So that is a good sign:) I don't think I will plan anything when hubby gets home because then he will feel preasured. I will just try to make the most of it and see what happens. Wouldn't that be crazy if it happened though? I mean how great would that be!!!!! I could spend the first five months back in the States with family and then be back in Japan with my hubby for the delivery. Ahhhhh, wouldn't that be great.......

Ashleydee - May 20

Hello ladies! I'm loving reading this thread! I just wanted to let both of you know a little about my story...I am currently expecting, almost 15 weeks now. DH and I got married in September 09, started ttc in Jan. '10. I'm 25 and he is 29, he has a 6 yr old DS so he wanted more children sooner rather than later! I went off of BC in October 09 and was told by my doctor that it is best, and easiest, to wait until you have had 3 full cycles prior to trying to concieve...he also stated that it can take as little as one month for the pill to get completely out of your system or as long as several years depending on your body! Simone, I wouldn't fret not concieving that soon after going off the pill, maybe when the hubby comes home you'll have better luck! About the vitamins, here it is extremely common for doctors to allow women to use Flinstone vitamins in place of pre-natals. They contain the folic acid that is so important, but not the iron, so they are easier for a lot of women to keep down and tolerate, so if you don't want to continue with the current vitamins, I would use those as a fill-in! Also, I discovered I was pregnant in March...I am one of the lucky ones with the down to the minute AF, so I knew as soon as I was more than 1 day late, however I NEVER felt preggers! I didn't have morning sickness until almost 10 weeks, b___bs never hurt (they have on very rare occasions now), nothing. I had some cramping, but honestly thought that it was AF coming - apparently it was the baby implanting! Don't worry about not feeling pregnant! If it hadn't been or my super regular schedule, I still wouldn't have known! Good luck to both of you! I'll be looking forward to BFP's for both of you soon!

simone7399 - May 20

Hi Ashley! Thank you so much for your post!!! It made me cry:) It gives me alot of HOPE!!!! Congrats by the way!!!!! You must be very excited. So how many Flintston vitamines did you take?
