i am getting married in march and my fiance and i want to try to get pregnant right away. i have been taking birth control for 10 years and i know it will take my body a little while to begin ovulating again. i am prepared to use other forms of birth control before the wedding to prevent pregnancy until we are truly ready, so when should i get off the pill so my body gets back to normal for right after the wedding?

Interesting question! How important is it not to be pregnant on your wedding day? My suggestion is to quit the pill three months before the wedding, and let nature take its course. I have seen women do temperature charting after coming off the pill, and not ovulate for that length of time, but there is no guarantee. Good luck!
